Pulmonary hypertension (PH) in left heart disease (LHD) is a challenge for cardiologists: in a setting of left ventricular dysfunction, the coexistence of PH and right ventricular dysfunction is known to be associated with very poor prognosis and limited efficacy of conventional medical treatments.
