No full textIn this paper, the author offers a Ricœurian reading of the ‘circadian novel’, taking Raffaele La Capria’s Tre romanzi di una giornata as his case study. After discussing current scholarship on the ‘temporal turn’ and the so called ‘one-day novel’, the author investigates the temporal structures of La Capria’s works through three temporal elements: differential, mundane, and mimetic. The author argues that these three elements, functioning both with and against each other, express the central concern of the circadian novel, namely the ‘fullness of time’

No full textIn questo contributo l’autore offre una lettura del muro nell’opera di Beppe Fenoglio. Considerando il muro come un oggetto dotato di agency, secondo il modello offerto da Alfred Gell in Art and Agency (1998), si individuano tre forme di relazione tra personaggi e muro: ‘fenomenologica’, ‘frontale’, ‘immaginaria’. L’obiettivo del contributo è di verificare come questa relazione sia espressione di un problema metafisico sull’essere partigiano e sul senso della morte, che Fenoglio ha cercato di tradurre sul piano estetico nei suoi racconti e romanzi.In this paper the author offers a reading of the wall in Fenoglio’s work. Un’alternativa a questo modello viene individuata nei Mondi di invenzione di Thomas Pavel e nel dialogismo polifonico di Michail Bachtin, che trovano in Giovanni Bottiroli, Arrigo Stara ed Enrico Testa tre fondamentali interlocutori.
