Preservation: Dry. Remarks: Former MNHN, Paris. The catalogue number MZSP 105250 is mentioned twice in Simone’s (2014) paper, among the paratypes of M. ibitingus Simone, 2014 and M. benthovus. This duplicity was a mistake by the author: the latter is an erroneous designation and should be disregarded. The only valid paratype lots for M. benthovus are the ones shown above.Published as part of Cavallari, Daniel C., Dornellas, Ana Paula S. & Simone, Luiz Ricardo L., 2016, Second annotated list of type specimens of molluscs deposited in the Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, pp. 1-59 in European Journal of Taxonomy 213 on page 10, DOI: 10.5852/ejt.2016.213, http://zenodo.org/record/384012

Type locality: " Praia de Copacabana " (longitude 43° 10' 0'' W " and latitude 22° 58' 0" S), Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Other locality: " Canal de Marapendi " (longitude 43 ° 19' 0'' W and latitude 23 ° 0' 0'' S), Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Prevalence: 17% (9 of 54 fish examined). Intensity: 1–4 parasites per infected fish. Deposition of specimens: holotype CHIOC nos. 36.639a (type); 36.639b (paratype); 36.640a–b, 36.641, 36.642a–c, 36.643a–b, 36.644a–b, 36.645a–d, 36.646, 36.647a–c (vouchers). Etymology: The specific name is in honor to Dr Anna Kohn in recognition of her great contribution to knowledge of Trematoda and the encouragement, instruction, friendship and scientific insight given to us. Description: Based on 16 adult specimens. Body elongate, tapered at both extremities, 0.70–1.90mm (1.26mm), n= 16 long, by 0.30–0.62mm (0.69 mm), n= 16 wide. Tegument spinous, spines very small measuring 7,51µm–11,20µm (measured under confocal microscopy). Eye spot pigmentation diffuse dispersed in anterior region of body. Oral sucker subterminal, rounded, 75–175 (158), n= 16 by 100–230 (178), n= 16. Ventral sucker smaller than oral sucker, median, preequatorial and almost equatorial in smaller specimens, measuring 87–170 (128), n= 12 by 97–175 (133), n= 12. Sucker width ratio 1:0.6–0.8 (0.7), n= 12. Prepharynx short, 10–70 (35), n= 14 long. Pharynx 50–115 (81), n= 16 by 55–130 (85), n= 16. Oesophagus long, 140–450 (316), n= 13 long, bifurcating at level of ventral sucker or just posterior. Caeca short, extending almost to testis, or reaching anterior margin. Testis elongated longitudinally, situated near posterior end of body, measuring 105–410 x 115–230 (251 x 162), n= 13. In one specimen testis is elongated transversally. Hermaphroditic sac arcuate close to ventral sucker, 140–450 x 60–145 (238 x 107), n= 14, containing internal seminal vesicle 60–340 x 30–150 (184 x 69), n= 9, prostatic region, muscular metraterm and long hermaphroditic duct. Genital pore large, between pharynx and ventral sucker or very close to it. External seminal vesicle at intestinal bifurcation or just posterior, measuring 60–215 x 30–115 (110 x 61), n= 13. Seminal receptacle elongate, seen in only one specimen 105 x 40. Ovary median, between intestinal bifurcation and testis, measuring 45–215 x 30–110 (111 x 70), n= 10. In some specimens ovary is just posterior to bifurcation, with eggs and/or vitelline follicles separating it from testis. Mehlis's gland and Laurer's canal not seen, seminal receptacle oval, anterior to ovary, seen in only one specimen, measuring 105 x 40. Uterus not passing beyond ventral sucker anteriorly. Eggs large, operculated, 82–105 x 45–72 (93 x 54), n= 53. Miracidia without pigmented eye spots. Single egg measuring 110 x 67 in 1 specimen. Vitellarium with elongated or subspherical follicles extending from posterior extremity of body, with follicles reaching end of caeca or posterior margin of ventral sucker (Figs. 1–3). Excretory vesicle Y, seen only in immature specimen under confocal microscopy. Excretory pore terminal.Published as part of Fernandes, Berenice M. M. & Cohen, Simone C., 2006, A new species of Intromugil Overstreet & Curran, 2005 (Digenea, Haploporidae) from the Brazilian marine fish Mugil liza Valenciennes (Perciformes, Mugilidae), pp. 63-68 in Zootaxa 1328 (1328) on pages 64-6
