Department of Land Conservation and Development Notice of Adopted AmendmentState law requires that an Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) be completed before any funding can be released for projects identified at the Coburg/l-5 interchange to fix the problem. In addition, Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 734-051-0155(6) states: "Interchange Area Management Plans are required for new interchanges and should be developed for significant modifications to existing interchanges..." The Coburg/lnterstate 5 IAMP documents the planning process to develop an alternative that will improve and protect the function of the Coburg/i-5 interchange. The purpose of the IAMP is to ensure that public investments in state infrastructure are protected through an integration of transportation and land use planning at the city, county and state levels. The IAMP recommends: (1) operational and physical improvements, including access management, and (2) local policy and development code cha nges. The IAMP is a collaborative document and reflects coordination among the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), the City of Coburg, and Lane County. The IAMP must be adopted by the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC), the City of Coburg and Lane County to be in effect

Comprehensive Plan, originally acknowledged by the Department of Land Conservation and
Development (DLCD) in 1982, is the official long-range general plan (public policy
document) of the City of Coburg. Its policies and land use plan designations apply only within the area under the jurisdiction of the Plan. The Plan is a guide for both public
officials and the general public to define the direction, quality and quantity of future
development redevelopment and to evaluate decisions and weigh the possible effects on

Coburg downtown plan : Improving transportation choices for Coburg
Get PDF41 pp. Adopted August 21, 2001. Captured December 1, 2001.The Coburg Downtown Plan (Plan) is a refinement to the City of Coburg Transportation System Plan (TSP), which was adopted in September 1999.
The Plan conforms to all TSP goals and policies, but provides greater detail on transportation and associated improvements within the downtown area, specifically the Central Business (CB) District. The land use component of the Plan recommends
revisions to the Coburg Zoning Code; however specific ordinance amendments are not proposed to be adopted at this time. The City of Coburg will be in Periodic Review in the near future and the city anticipates major revisions to its zoning code; a comprehensive approach to zoning code amendments will occur through this process. The downtown code recommendations can be incorporated at that time.
