The Mousetrap is a murder mystery play by Agatha Christie. The play opened in London\u27s West End in 1952 and ran continuously until 16 March 2020, when the stage performances had to be temporarily discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic. The longest-running West End show, it also has by far the longest run of any play in the world, with its 29,500th performance having taken place as of February 2024. A whodunit, the play has a twist ending which the audience are traditionally asked not to reveal after leaving the theatre. There are eight members of the cast, and by 2012 more than 400 actors had played the roles. Richard Attenborough was the original Detective Sergeant Trotter, and his wife, Sheila Sim, the first Mollie Ralston – owner of Monkswell Manor guesthouse. However, since then few of the cast have been headliners, with Stephen Moss in The Guardian writing that the play and its author are the stars .https://archives.alvincollege.edu/productions_1982-1983/1002/thumbnail.jp

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart. Inspired by the farces of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus (254–184 BC), specifically Curculio, Pseudolus, Miles Gloriosus, and Mostellaria, the musical tells the bawdy story of a slave named Pseudolus and his attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door. The plot displays many classic elements of farce, including puns, the slamming of doors, cases of mistaken identity (frequently involving characters disguising themselves as one another), and satirical comments on social class. The title derives from a line often used by vaudeville comedians to begin a story: A funny thing happened on the way to the theater . The musical\u27s original 1962 Broadway run won several Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Author (Musical). A Funny Thing has enjoyed several Broadway and West End revivals and was made into a successful film starring the original lead of the stage musical, Zero Mostel.https://archives.alvincollege.edu/productions_1982-1983/1001/thumbnail.jp

Thesis of Doctor of Philosophy in Education Administration and Management. The study investigated the innovative strategies for enhancing online learning in higher education institutions in Zambia. The research was guided by the Constructivist Learning Theory and Social Cognitive Theory. The researcher employed a pragmatist paradigm and a descriptive survey research design. Maximum variation purposive sampling technique was used to come up with the study sample. The sample was made up of 180 educators who were purposely selected from four universities. Additionally, 4 Directors of Distance Education in charge of Online Learning in the four universities, 1 ICT Expert from the Ministry of Technology and Science and 1 ICT engineer from the Internet Service Provider in the selected universities were also purposely selected. Four research instruments were used to collect data; a questionnaire which was used to collect quantitative data from educators and three interview guides which were used to collect qualitative data. Data was analyzed thematically. The findings of the study showed significant steps taken by the Government of Zambia to enhance online learning such as introduction of 5G technology, connection of Zambia to satellite internet via Star Link, and mandating and funding of ZAMREN to provide cheaper and quality internet connectivity. Additionally, the study showed that some higher learning institutions conducted online learning without a clear policy guideline. Three out of the four sampled learning institutions relied on distance learning policy developed many years ago for guidance. The study revealed that educators were generally satisfied with the computer expertise they acquired, but were not satisfied with the resources that were provided by the respective universities, the ICT support provided and generally had a negative perception of the online learning pedagogy. Furthermore, the study showed efforts made by Internet Service providers to enhance online learning in higher education institutions in Zambia through provision of learning management systems for free. On the other hand, the study brought to the fore some of the strategies that could be used to enhance online learning in Zambia such as facilitation of learners' acquisition of ICT gadgets at an affordable price, pushing more investment in online learning software such as zoom, introduction of mandatory ICT courses in colleges and universities, and introduction of tax incentives on all ICT equipment bought by higher learning institutions. The study also highlighted innovative strategies for funding the purchase of ICT gadgets for disadvantaged learners in remote areas such as the use of Constituency Development Fund under the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. The major contribution of this study to the body of knowledge is the development of a contextualised regulatory policy framework on online learning in institutions of higher learning in Zambia, which, if adopted, will help to enhance effective instructional delivery in colleges and universities. In view of the findings, the study recommends the adoption of the proposed online learning regulation policy framework by the Government of Zambia through Ministry of Education and introduction of mandatory ICT training courses for both learners and educators in the training curriculum by Higher Learning Institutions

Kunci: Alvin Plantinga, Epistemologi, Agama. v ABSTRACT This research is oriented towards an analysis that dissects a specific component of Alvin Plantinga's epistemological thinking on the basis of what he calls Warrant epistemology, so that in the building of Plantinga's epistemological thinking, it will elaborate on the structure of Alvin Plantinga's religious epistemology, thus forming an explicit thought on the epistemology of Religion, so the author describes coherently how the background of the emergence of Alvin Plantinga's series of epistemological thoughts, then in the context of Plantinga's religious thought will be the basis for further reconstruction regarding how this relevance side leads to contemporary epistemological studies and also Islam, so that this research is rooted in structural dissection in applying Plantinga's thoughts into an epistemological variable based on faith, especially including a series of sharp criticisms of the initial formula for Alvin Plantinga's thinking in epistemology, as well as the epistemology of Religion. The method used in the continuation of this research, the author uses data collection techniques from primary works from Alvin Plantinga and secondary works from books that discuss Alvin Plantinga's thoughts, in the data usage technique, the author uses a system of analyzing and reading explicitly in processing data in the works of books needed. So that the description of the results that have been examined by the author in reviewing this research will produce good results and conclusions, especially the data analysis used by the researcher including the interpretation, hermeneutic, and inductive methods. As for the general research methods presented in this study, the author uses qualitative methods and literature reviews. The results of this study have shown that in the components of Plantinga's religious epistemology thinking, Alvin Plantinga has a basis for his religious epistemology thinking, namely: Reformed epistemology, proper function theory, and the vi Aquinas/Calvin model, and among Alvin Plantinga's religious epistemology has been based on a theological belief system, which has a basis for the entity of belief in theistic beliefs. Thus, the adequate reconstruction and relevance of Plantinga's epistemology of religion have shown that the arrangement of the three series of Plantinga's epistemology of religion has implications for the offer of contemporary epistemology that was previously criticized by Plantinga, thus the results of the series show that the relevance side reconstructs several theisticbased beliefs, especially Islam. So in this case the author shows that Alvin Plantinga's idea of religious epistemology has become a credible foundation for a religious belief. Keywords: Alvin Plantinga, Epistemology, Religion

Charles Alan Murray is an American political scientist, writer, and public speaker. He is the W.H. Brady Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington, D.C. Murray\u27s work has been and remains highly controversial. His book Losing Ground: American Social Policy 1950–1980 (1984) discussed the American welfare system. He wrote the controversial book The Bell Curve (1994), written with Richard Herrnstein, in which he argues that intelligence is a better predictor than parental socio-economic status or education level of many individual outcomes including income, job performance, pregnancy out of wedlock, and crime, and that social welfare programs and education efforts to improve social outcomes for the disadvantaged are largely counterproductive. Alvin Poussaint, M. D. is an American psychiatrist well known for his research on the effects of racism in the black community. He is a noted author, public speaker, and television consultant, and Dean of Students at Harvard Medical School. His work in psychiatry is influenced greatly by the civil rights movement in the South, which he joined in 1965. Poussaint is well known in psychology regarding race relations. Much of his work deconstructs theories of race models by white psychologist previously in the field. Through his research he addresses blatant and subtle forms of racism. This is why Poussaint insist that blacks instill self-esteem and black pride into children growing up in this society. In his controversial book, Why Blacks Kill Blacks, he turns the theory or racial self-hatred on its head. He developed his aggression-rage theory to show the psychological issues that may plague African Americans. In his book he states, [The theory of racial self-hatred] allows whites to feel that [blacks] are psychologically deranged while [whites are] posing as models of mental health. In fact, it must be whites who are insecure and filled with self-hatred, since they are the ones who need to oppress blacks in order to cope with life. Another interest of Poussaint is media consulting. He wants to use media to construct positive role models for children
