No full text78 5A scenic spots in six central provinces were selected as the analysis objects according to the list of national 5A scenic spots published by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the provincial cultural and tourism departments, from which 72 effective samples with clear image signs were extracted. Then, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the shape and color application of effective samples by using the investigation and analysis method and NCS color system. This paper summarizes four shape design techniques and five color types of scenic spots signs, and summarizes the present situation and characteristics of scenic spots signs' design
