Measuring and analyzing German and Spanish customer satisfaction of using the iPhone 4S Mobile Cloud service
This paper presents the customer satisfaction analysis for measuring popularity in the Mobile Cloud, which is an emerging area in the Cloud and Big Data Computing. Organizational Sustainability Modeling (OSM) is the proposed method used in this research. The twelve-month of German and Spanish consumer data are used for the analysis to investigate the return and risk status associated with the ratings of customer satisfaction in the iPhone 4S Mobile Cloud services. Results show that there is a decline in the satisfaction ratings in Germany and Spain due to economic downturn and competitions in the market, which support our hypothesis. Key outputs have been explained and they confirm that all analysis and interpretations fulfill the criteria for OSM. The use of statistical and visualization method proposed by OSM can expose unexploited data and allows the stakeholders to understand the status of return and risk of their Cloud strategies easier than the use of other data analysis
An Introductory Approach to Risk Visualization as a Service
This paper introduces the Risk Visualization as a Service (RVaaS) and presents the motivation, rationale, methodology, Cloud APIs used, operations and examples of using RVaaS. Risks can be calculated within seconds and presented in the form of Visualization to ensure that unexploited areas are ex-posed. RVaaS operates in two phases. The first phase includes the risk modeling in Black Scholes Model (BSM), creating 3D Visualization and Analysis. The second phase consists of calculating key derivatives such as Delta and Theta for financial modeling. Risks presented in visualization allow the potential investors and stakeholders to keep track of the status of risk with regard to time, prices and volatility. Our approach can improve accuracy and performance. Results in experiments show that RVaaS can perform up to 500,000 simulations and complete all simulations within 24 seconds for time steps of up to 50. We also introduce financial stock market analysis (FSMA) that can fully blend with RVaaS and demonstrate two examples that can help investors make better decision based on the pricing and market volatility information. RVaaS provides a structured way to deploy low cost, high quality risk assessment and support real-time calculations
Consulting as a Service – demonstrated by Cloud Computing consultancy projects in the Greater China
The objective of this paper is to highlight Cloud Computing projects with mutual interests for both mainland China and Taiwan, which present the a strong case of Consulting as a Service (CaaS) as an innovative way for generating profits and delivering services for clients. This paper explains the IT and Cloud development in the Greater China and presents three projects that Taiwanese have been involved in the design, implementation and research. The first project presents a case for Teradata and Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), where Taiwanese collaborators have been closely involved. The second project is about two sandstorm simulations in the Inner Mongolia of mainland China and investigates its impacts to the environment and health of the populations. The third project is the Universe Computing which responds to mainland China's call to develop space programme and to explore the unknown territory. Universe Computing includes simulations for satellite orbiting, galaxy formation and galaxy explosion. The author is an investigator for the second and third project and uses Cloud Computing Adoption Framework (CCAF) to design and deploy Software as a Service (SaaS) and Consulting as a Service (CaaS). Taiwanese research and development outputs have been influential to the IT development in the Greater China. This is important to move away any differences and work together to establish more and better research and development results to create a mutual win-win and maintain a high GDP growth

You can ask the author to get discounts for you. Thanks!----This book gives an overview of Cloud Computing (CC) and presents a literature review explaining the development of CC. Selected frameworks are discussed, including those suitable for this research. Technical and organisational challenges for CC are also identified. This book focuses on organisational challenges and recommendations to address organisational challenges. To help organisations achieve good Cloud design, deployment and services, there is a need for the proposal and development of a framework, the Cloud Computing Business Framework (CCBF), which explains how three research questions are connected together. The CCBF is a conceptual and an architectural framework to be validated through modelling, simulation, experiments and hybrid case studies. The architecture of the CCBF is presented to explain how different key areas can relate to each other and fit into the framework. Results of case studies, simulations, modelling and experiments are used to validate CCBF and are discussed in details which collaborators find results of CCBF useful for their Cloud adoption. Selected results have been published including four journals and one book chapter. Finally, future work plans are proposed and followed-up steps are explained
A proposed model to analyse risk and return for Cloud adoption
This book presents Organisational Sustainability Modelling (OSM), a new method to model and analyse risk and return systematically for Cloud Computing. Return includes improvements in technical efficiency, profitability and service. Risk includes controlled risk (risk-control rate) and uncontrolled risk (beta), although uncontrolled risk cannot be evaluated directly. Three OSM metrics, actual return value, expected return value and risk control rate are used to calculate uncontrolled risk. The OSM data collection process in which hundreds of datasets are used as inputs is explained. Outputs including standard error, mean squared error, Durbin-Watson, p-value and R-squared value are calculated. Visualisation is used to illustrate quality and accuracy of data analysis. The metrics, process and interpretation of data analysis is presented and the rationale is explained in the review of the OSM method. Three case studies are used to illustrate the validity of OSM. All three case studies confirm there are benefits for the adoption of Cloud. Together these demonstrations answer the two research questions for this book. OSM has been adopted by several organisations. Please go to this link and pay. The Business Intelligence as a Service in the Cloud
Limitations imposed by the traditional practice in financial institutions of running risk analysis on the desktop mean many rely on models which assume a “normal” Gaussian distribution of events which can seriously underestimate the real risk. In this paper, we propose an alternative service which uses the elastic capacities of Cloud Computing to escape the limitations of the desktop and produce accurate results more rapidly. The Business Intelligence as a Service (BIaaS) in the Cloud has a dual-service approach to compute risk and pricing for financial analysis. The first type of BIaaS service uses three APIs to simulate the Heston Model to compute the risks and asset prices, and computes the volatility (unsystematic risks) and the implied volatility (systematic risks) which can be tracked down at any time. The second type of BIaaS service uses two APIs to provide business analytics for stock market analysis, and compute results in the visualised format, so that stake holders without prior knowledge can understand. A full case study with two sets of experiments is presented to support the validity and originality of BIaaS. Additional three examples are used to support accuracy of the predicted stock index movement as a result of the use of the Heston Model and its associated APIs.We describe the architecture of deployment, together with examples and results which show how our approach improves risk and investment analysis and maintaining accuracy and efficiency whilst improving performance over desktops
