Surrogacy and conflicting interests ["Gestazione per altri" e interessi in conflitto]
No full text"Gestation for others" involves considerable doubts about its ethical and legal admissibility. The investigation is oriented, in particular, towards the distinction between "commercial" and "altruistic" surrogacy. Therefore, criticism is expressed about important sentences, which recognize in both of them a practice that "intolerably offends the dignity of women and deeply undermines human relations". Finally, attention is paid to the problem of the status to be recognized for children born abroad through this practice and to the problem of risks associated with PMA, that is, those identifiable with the undesirable effects on the health of the mother and the unborn child

Claudia Rankine has written five collections of poetry, including Citizen: An American Lyric, which was selected for the National Endowment for the Arts\u27 Big Read, and two plays. She also has participated in several video collaborations and edited anthologies including The Racial Imaginary: Writers on Race in the Life of the Mind.
Rankine has received fellowships from the MacArthur and Guggenheim foundations. Citizen won several honors, including the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, the PEN Open Book Award and the NAACP Image Award. Citizen also was the only poetry book to be a New York Times nonfiction bestseller. She is the Frederick Iseman Professor of Poetry at Yale University and chancellor of the Academy of American Poets

No full textHuman enhancement raises many ethical, deontological and legal issues. However, the Italian Code of Medical Deontology has recognized its practicability, dedicating a specific rule to it (article 76). This decision has been widely discussed also in consideration of its non-compatibility with some European documents and with the Italian legal system. In this context, it is necessary to provide proper insights into this topic, because of its worrying consequences on an individual and social level. It is therefore claimed an interpretation abrogating article 76 of the Code of Medical Deontology, waiting for an abolition of this article by the National Federation of Doctors Orders Surgeons and Dentists

As regards Homónoia, the origin of this personified abstraction seems to be traced back to the political debate of Athens in the last 5th century.
