    Influencer marketing within business-to-business organisations

    No full text
This study explores the dynamics of influencer marketing in the B2B sector by drawing on employee advocacy, customer reference marketing and organisational endorsement theories, explicating the strategic application of influencer marketing in the B2B context, and revealing the challenges in influencer marketing faced by B2B organisations. We conducted twenty-two in-depth semi-structured interviews with senior management marketing professionals across different sectors. Our analysis of these narratives shows that B2B marketers advocate the concept of ‘influential marketing’ by differentiating it from the concept of influencer marketing in the B2C market. B2B influential marketing connotes trustworthiness, expertise, professionalism, and exchange of know-how, all of which are rooted in long-term and industry-specific relationships and business networks. This research contributes to the theorisation of B2B influential marketing by developing an integrated framework that deciphers the process of its strategic implementation. The vital managerial contributions in our study highlight the specific considerations for influential marketing in B2B organisations

The drainagesystem in Severina Subdivision, Bagumbayan,Taguig City was reconstructed in 2009 after the flooding in the area due to Typhoon Ondoy. The reconstruction was apparently made without the aid of design analysis.Due to thid fact, the author made a hydraulic analysis of the drainage system in Severina Sibdivision to determine its hydraulic efficiency based on the Department of Public Works and Highways(DPWH) design standards. This was done using a hydraulic model of the drainage system using HEC-RAS.The drainage system was found out to be overdesigned. HEC-RAS showed the it has a maximum flow capacity of 1.99m³/s compared to the likely flow discharge calculated for the subdivision which is 0.44m³/s. Moreover, the model showed that the velocity of water in some parts of the canal is less than 0.6 m/s.the required minimum velocity to avoid sediment particle depostion, which can lead to drainage clogging and therefore flooding during rainfall events

Morte e Vida Severina. ABSTRACT: The personification of the subject through language is something notorious in the users of a language. In Brazil, there are several forms of linguistic behavior, either by function of region, social class, situations (formal and informal) and by historical period. In this work, we seek the use of variation by region to explain and characterize the Northeastern subject presented in the work Morte e Vida Severina, by author João Cabral de Melo Neto. The choice of the text of the analysis was based on the representation of the difficult life of the retreatant, who, even in the face of all challenges, persists in his daily struggles. Therefore, theoretical bases were necessary from the knowledge of Linguistics and Sociolinguistics. In favor of this, we use, as reference, Saussure (2006), Mollica; Braga (2015); in addition to Guimarães (2014), with the Semantics of the Event, with regard to the "Designations". We aim to highlight the questions of how the language shapes its user, through its own lines, and discusses, therefore, the sociolinguistic analysis, seeking to combine linguistics with the dialects that are as designations in the popular work of the northeast region, Morte and Vida Severina. Keywords: Sociolinguistic. Variation. Designations. Characterize. Morte e Vida Severina

This study is an analysis of the poetry construction of the author Joao Cabral de Melo Neto O cão sem plumas (The Dog Without Feathers) from the description of space, man and river poetic, there is also as corpus the poem Morte e vida severina (Death Life Severina). Em O rio seek searching to reflect on the images of water and the aesthetics of space according to the propositions of Gaston Bachelard d on the themes of the discourse of pain, distress, pessimism and death. And the book Morte e Vida Severina analysis from the study of genres: lyric, narrative and dramatic, plus a counterpoint to the polyphony of genres .This work is authoritative by the poetics of this author, the way of handling images, metaphors, or how he deals with all this semantic expression, however, with the figures of language, rhythm, wordplay The poetic course of his speech. And with this thread realize the poetic essence of the Wild and Sertanejo (backcountry) in the works analyzed. Implying also that hard, dry and painful reality of the backcountry also refers us to the way of production of poet João Cabral, to reveal the essence of the backcountry while describing his own manner of poetic construction

The adoption of social media (SM) as a marketing platform in B2B markets has been growing, but there is a lack of research exploring the development of the social networking capabilities organizations need to build and maintain relationships via SM. By applying a qualitative, in-depth, case study research design in 12 organizations, this paper identifies a four-stage journey of social networking capability development. The stage-model captures the types of capabilities organizations engage or develop to be effective in creating actor engagement, network development and network management on SM. Through this, we demonstrate how the capabilities build over time and integrate with each other to improve the organizations’ perceived competitive performance on SM. We highlight the operational, dynamic and adaptive capabilities needed to build capacity for seizing the opportunities available through SM

Purpose The purpose of this study is to theoretically hypothesise and empirically explore the relationships between operations and supply chain management (O&SCM) and marketing/sales (OMS) collaboration, social media (SM) usage, organisational resilience and performance. This paper considers how collaboration through SM can enhance organisational resilience capability and performance. Design/methodology/approach A survey was conducted among 395 organisations in the UK. Structural equation modelling was applied to test the research hypotheses. Findings The empirical findings of this study support the significant mediating role of O&SCM–OMS collaborative activities through internal and external SM for better organisational resilience, capability, cost efficiency, customer-focused and business performance. This also extends to exploring differences based on product versus service industries. Originality/value Through empirical research, the findings contribute to the theoretical development and managerial guidance on O&SCM–OMS collaboration and resilience capability by emphasising the strategic deployment of SM across functions through the lens of contingency theory and resource-based view

Dissertação de Mestrado em Estudos Curatoriais apresentada ao Colégio das ArtesThis investigation focuses on an attempt to read some aspects of João Cabral de Melo's poem “Morte e Vida Severina” to create a curatorial exercise. In this way, the exercise begins with a theoretical contextualization about the mechanics of translation and adaptation, which is revealed in the contemporary world and which in the years 1965/1977 was the voice capable of projecting the poem as social criticism in Brazil and France. During the investigation, the figure of the curator emerges, placing himself “between” these two mechanics, becoming a co-author, to establish a new concept, a new translation-adaptation, in the process of intermediation between artists and works. The curatorial project arises by translating, adapting and articulating the various Severina voices, following Walter Benjamin for whom “the life of the original reaches its last and broadest unfolding, permanently renewed.” To support this investigation, the contributions of several authors such as Walter Benjamin, Linda Hutcheon, Roland Barthes, Ana Luiza Ramazzina, Michael Foucault, Haroldo de Campos, Jean-Paul Martinon will be considered.

In the present era of computerization of the school space, where everyone is surrounded by such fast and perishable information, we can see that few of these updates translate into relevant experiences for student education. Whereas the choice to work with the poetic literary text here is undeniably the attempt to do the opposite: to transform the experience of literary enjoyment into permanent knowledge for the school community. This work is an attempt to assertively and effectively develop the indication of work launched by PCN, under the aegis of the LDB of Brazilian public education, in what concerns the reading practices and literary enjoyment in the classroom. To this end, the poem piece Morte e vida Severina, by Pernambuco author, by João Cabral de Melo Neto, will be the base text for the collective reading of this study, developed in the stages of reading, reception and textual performance under the investigative theoretical effort going through guidelines, among others, by Iauss (1979), Cosson (2006), Zumthor (1993) and Pinheiro (2003). From this theoretical framework, the body was used during the literary reading processes, because it is through it that we are in the world. In this sense and thinking about the reading that ―dislodges the man from his body‖, through the readings, representations and text productions of the students, it was possible to observe, throughout the research, the elaboration of several meanings and resignifications with the selected work in the classroom, so that, resulting from this interventional practice, several pedagogical products were produced, explored throughout this work.
