Alla luce delle evidenze scientifiche e dell'esperienza di professionisti medico-sanitari nell'assistenza di persone affette da compromissione cognitiva, il manuale illustra le manifestazioni cliniche associate alle principali patologie organiche e neurodegenerative, orientando clinici e studiosi nella scelta di protocolli mirati all'ottenimento di un profilo neuropsicologico per il corretto inquadramento diagnostico dei pazienti.
