Corruption, tax revenue and growth: a non linear relationship?
No full textIn this paper we explore tax revenue in a regime of widespread corruption in a static and dynamic framework. We prove that the relationship between tax rate and tax collection is not linear. In a static context, this may bring about a Laffer–like behavior of
overall tax revenue. A higher tax rate, via higher corruption, may reduce revenues. In a dynamic context, this relationship is inverted: tax revenues are high for low and high tax rates, while low for intermediate tax rates. Furthermore we prove that the relationship between the tax rate and growth is not linear

sempre in crescita quantitativa ma anche qualitativa: le tecniche corruttive
si affinano e pervadono ogni settore economico della vita reale. Il settore
ambientale chiaramente non ne è immune: il Rapporto di Legambiente
Ecomafia 2015 evidenzia che il fatturato dell’ecomafia torna a salire dopo
anni di stallo. Nel 2014 ha sfiorato i 22 miliardi, sette in più rispetto al 2013,
il valore più alto dal 2007. In questa breve nota si è cercato di dare al lettore
un quadro della normativa vigente a livello nazionale ed internazionale,
