LUTTUOSO BY VLADIMIR CIOLAC: NEOROMANTICAL CONCEPTION OF FUNERAL MUSIC
This article is dedicated to the chamber-instrumental miniature by V. Ciolac realized in the genre of funeral music. It was created after the death of the prominent Moldovan musician E. Bogdanovschi and it is dedicated to his memory. The author analyzes the imaginative conception of this miniature for string orchestra, in relation to the symbolism of the „tragic- style markers” of the past (from Baroque to Romanticism), presented in the context of modern language and free-form, and then draws a conclusion about the neo-romantic nature of this piece

The article presents the history of the Organ concerto by composer Dmitry Kitsenko — the work which is acting at different stages of his creation in various genre forms. As a result repeatedly is modified the basic concept of this work, generating a kind of supercycle, united by intertextual connections. Characterizing the Organ concerto by Dmitry Kitsenko, the author also examines in more details his Concerto grosso No. 2, based on the same material and also defines the main features of both the audio-visual version of the Concerto, presented in the form of a multimedia opera on the Internet, using the works by A. Dürer, as well as the last purely musical version of the Concerto (2014)

FORGOTTEN PAGES FROM ION MACOVEI’S CREATION
This article is devoted to Ion Macovei’s creation, namely, to his Symphonieta Florile dalbe (lily-whiteflowers) in the version for string orchestra, realized by conductor Dumitru Goia. The author presents some information about the history of this creation and analyses the six-part cycle of the Symphonieta, where every movement has its own title in Latin. The character of these miniatures which are closely connected with Moldova calendar folklore, and first of all, with the carol genre, determined the use of both archetypes of the monodic melody and of the early heterophony principles as well as the mode systems characteristic of regional musical folklore. here is also an analysis of the methods of orchestration used by Dumitru Goia in the score of the Symphonieta
THE COLLECTION CORURI BY CONSTANTIN RUSNAC: ITS STRUCTURE AND GENRE FEATURES OF SOME MINIATURES
This paper is devoted to the collection of choirs by Constantin Rusnac, a prominent musical figure and composer from the Republic of Moldova. Ranked as a result of many years of creative efforts in this genre and published in 2013 in Chisinau, this collection under one cover combines two different sets of choral miniatures — a cappella or with piano accompaniment. One of them — „Luminati-va (Enlighten Your)”, has included 17 works for mixed and homogeneous choir, the other section — „Ghiocelul (The Snowdrop)”, which has embraced 24 miniatures — significantly expands and enriches the repertoire of music for the children’s choir. Within each of these groups there are samples of different genres and musical language that are of interest not only to the choir conductors who select material for their own concert programs, but also for musicologists
THE SYMPHONY GENRE IN THE CREATION OF COMPOSER VIKTOR SIMONOV
The article contains a brief overview of the symphony creation of Viktor Simonov realized on the eve of the composer’s 80th anniversary, who worked in Moldova in the period between 1975 and 1991 and after moving to Moscow he kept up his membership of the Union of Composers and Musicologists of the Republic of Moldova. By now, large orchestral works in his portfolio are represented by ten instrumental concertos and seven symphonies. Some of these creations were performed in Chisinau, Tiraspol and Moscow, where, in the recent years, his music has been included in the programs of the International Festival „Moscow Autumn”

THE COMPOSER AND FOLKLORE PROBLEM: FACTORS OF STYLISTIC STRUCTURE
This paper continues the author’s earlier study of the Composer and Folklore problem from the stylistic point of view. It is noted that in academic music, where the attention is focused not only on the speech or text characteristics, but primarily on the linguistic and stylistic material of folklore, the appeal to folk sources leads to the emergence of a number of stylistic factors, both, in the formation of the national style, and in the field of ethnic culture as a whole and integral stable system.
The research points to the role of folklore as the genetic code of ethnic culture, as well as to other factors acting at on the level ,of musical discourse and musical language, contributing to the formation of „language flexibility” (A. Kolmogorov) and, as a result, „flexibility of style”
