Regeneration is possible only when, like Carmine Gambardella said, “you create a genetic match between the investigator / designer and the environment, in order to make vanishing the border between existing and new, have already done and what to do, including survey design and project design in order to razionalize time and it checks the modification. “ This essential relationship between the investigator / designer and environment, supported by technological evolution, enables extensive information to enter into the body of the objects, enriching the information and determining the evolution of the Representation as a Project. The project comes from the idea to recover, physically and visually, the system of vegetable production, and rose gardens, which draw the Pompeian landscape through “colored stripes”, vertical and horizontal, that recall the agricultural vocation of the place and imposing a new agricultural park citizen. The compositional method followed is that of the overlapping thematic layers, such as water, gardens, greenhouses, etc. ... and the result produces an overhead type of painting, a local version of Mondrian abstract style that fits well into the landscape, integrating the various functions that, in the fascinating game of the structurization of a place, act as the starting point to get the architectural definition of a limit space, in continually progress, where the old founds, through the signs of the past, a medium ferryman to the future. So, greenhouses become art greenhouses, irrigation canals are transformed into signs in the landscape and spas, gyms are three-dimensional fields and schools are integrated with the landscape. In conclusion, the overall intervention tends to achieve a peaceful reunion of architecture with nature through the link with the memory

    Philosophical house

"We would say that Capri has been the victim of an exceptional injury, caused by the same predilection whose fate would have it covered: the issue being that the place is well loved, and that, just like all the people to whom suffer the same fate, it is at risk of becoming hopelessly conventional and mannered". Capri is only a small rock made of dizzying sheer cliffs and one of the tips of it, Punta Massullo, the project was born of a reversible space, a home for intellectuals philosophical, not for a single developer, a space not fully defined, but a constantly evolving environment. The project is part of a landscape of enclosed spaces where life moves outdoors, tables are laden under the sky, nature, domesticated, contributes to the wealth of space. Cultures kept climbing and bricked walls of the boxes become festoons of flowers and festive to celebrate the richness of the place. The house is elongated in the ratio of 1: 4, oriented on a north-west, south-east, following the topography of the place, enclosed on three sides by walls and on the fourth by the rock that slopes down towards the sea. The inside of the box is only visible from above, rejecting the idea of the facade appears as a monolith from the sea, only in some places reveals its nature of casing cement, an essential envelope, wrinkled, abstract, almost impassable

    Segezia

To reach Segezia needs, as it remembers Pennacchi, to pass under a double row of eucalyptus ‘ trees that connect them toward the center; the tall bell tower, well visible also from far, guide like a lighthouse in the countryside. Segezia is born in the strategic sketch performed by the Onc driven by Araldo Di Crollalanza and technically submitted, with the Urbanistic Plan of the Tavoliere, to the architect of foggiana’s origin Concezio Petrucci. The objective of the intervention is to put in evidence the system of division of land of farmhouses spread that have in the town centers and suburbs the points of reference of the gravitating polycentric constellation around Foggia. In the project for Segezia, certainly a point of arrival for Petrucci, it is clearly visible the stylistic jump made in the elaboration of the plan and in the built restitution; it is a clean, dry and centrifugal system, a feature proper of the systems theorized by the leader teacher of the organic movement, Frank Lloyd Wright. From the point of view stylistic reports clearly a planning evolution, the architect’s architectural will, (prematurely disappeared), the point of arrival of a search who often engaged him with the theme of the rural city - theme that has been often ignored by the great architects of the time focused more on the architectural object - and that it stays, in every way, his last realized work

Il recupero della memoria storica nei processi di trasformazione fondiaria in Capitanata, il caso Incoronata

Retracing the countryside transformation plodding process in which Capitanata was the last and greatest example of the “Ventennio” practicing, certainly has a significant valuable rediscover. Rediscovering is certainly crucial to understand the massive drainage process and field quest. It changed considerably the Foggia agricultural landscape both in a productive and in architectural way. In fact driving along the farms roads or the radial countryside routes to Foggia allows to understandeasily how the “Piano per il Tavoliere” acted, changing the territorial architectural structure behavior. Just think about the high number of countryside farmhouses or the unfinished small town (Segezia, Incoronata, Cervaro ecc...) that constellatethe landscape like “lighthouses” in a sea of wheat. The Concezio Petrucci’s Piano per il Tavoliere is the exemplification of the polycentric model theorized at the beginning of last century ; its first shyrepresentations can be seen in the Plan for Foggia in 1928. But, ten years later, in the Petrucci’s Tavoliere coordination project it will reach its stylistic and conceptual goal. The influence of the architect from Foggia will reverberate in regime architects like Giorgio Calza-Bini. In the Incoronata project Calza-Bini will change his modernist language into the Petrucci’s rural thought
