Il pensiero militare classico nella letteratura cinese: il "Romanzo dei Tre Regni"
No full textQuesto articolo analizza l'influenza del pensiero militare cinese classico sul "Sanguo yanyi" (Romanzo dei Tre Regni), una lunga opera narrativa scritta nel 14 ° secolo da Luo Guanzhong e tuttora amatissima dai lettori cinesi. Mescolando storia e fantasia con grande sapienza, il romanzo racconta la lotta per la supremazia tra i regni di Wei, Wu e Shu dopo la caduta della dinastia Han; le vicende si svolgono tra il 184 e il 280 d.C. Descrivendo più di duecento i conflitti, l'autore rimanda spesso al pensiero militare tradizionale, dimostrandone così la duratura validità. Il Romanzo dimostra come la corretta applicazione di tale pensiero strategico dipenda dalle capacità degli strateghi (moushi), le cui decisioni ispireranno più tardi alcuni leader carismatici della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, tra cui lo stesso Mao Zedong .This paper analyses the influence of the traditional Chinese military thought on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a long novel that was written in the 14th century by Luo Guanzhong and it's still a must for any Chinese reader. Elegantly mixing history with imagination, it recounts the fight for supremacy among the kingdoms of Wei, Wu and Shu after the fall of the Han dynasty, from 184 to 280 A.D. Describing more than two hundred conflicts, the author frequently refers to the traditional military thought, thus proving its perennial validity. It sound apllication relies on the ability of the strategists (moushi), whose role and choices inspired later Chinese leaders such as Mao Zedong

No full textQuesto articolo analizza il Zhifu xinshu ????, un manuale di economia politica occidentale pubblicato a Hong Kong nel 1847. Il volume era rimasto fino ad ora sconosciuto ai sinologi. La sua pubblicazione precedette di più di trent'anni quella del Fuguoce, a lungo considerato il primo manuale di economia mai tradotto in cinese. Questa scoperta porta a riconsiderare la cronologia del lungo processo di trasmissione culturale che portò all'introduzione dell'economia politica in Cina. This paper analyses the Zhifu xinshu ????, a manual of western political economy published in Hong Kong in 1847. The book was not mentioned in the catalogues of translations published in the XIX or early XX centuries and it was unknown to contemporary scholars until the author of this article discovered it. The publication of the Zhifu xinshu preceded by more than thirty years that of the Fuguoce ???, that was for long considered as the first western manual on the subject ever to be translated in Chinese. This finding leads to reconsider the chronology of the long process of cultural transmission that eventually led to the introduction of western political economy in China

Then, after summarizing some opinions on the war expressed in the monthly Dongfang zazhi (Eastern Miscellany), this paper examines the rhetorical strategies deployed by Zhang Junmai (1887-1969) in an article fully dedicated to Italy’s situation in the system of alliances and its shift from neutrality to active participation

Fino al crollo dell'Impero avvenuto nel 1911, furono undici i grandi consiglieri che si susseguirono in questo ruolo, anche se fu solo nel 1902 che una legazione permanente si insediò a Roma. Questo articolo ripercorre le relazioni diplomatiche tra Italia e Cina sul finire dei Qing attraverso le vicende pubbliche e private dei Gran Consiglieri cinesi, avvalendosi a tal fine di fonti originali, quali diari di viaggio e documenti di archivio.The Qing Empire designated its first diplomatic representative to the Kingdom of Italy in 1881. Until 1911, eleven Grand Ministers held this role, though it was only in 1902 that a permanent legation settled in Rome. This paper provides an overview of the history of diplomatic relations between the Qing government and Italy as seen through the private stories of China’s representatives, based on their travel diaries and on archival documents that were neglected so far

No full textLa Prefazione della curatrice ripercorre la produzione letteraria cinese, dalle origini all'avvento della modernità, alla luce di alcune ricerche degli ultimi decenni, soffermandosi dapprima sulle nuove prospettive aperte sulla letteratura antica dai recenti ritrovamenti archeologici, ripercorrendo poi la produzione letteraria femminile del periodo imperiale, per arrivare infine alle novità contenutistiche e stilistiche della poesia e della prosa di fine Ottocento e inizio Novecento, novità che precorsero e anticiparono la ben più nota letteratura cinese moderna.The Preface to Giuliano Bertuccioli’s volume “La letteratura cinese” (L’Asino d’oro edizioni, 2013) integrates the original contents of this masterpiece of Italian sinological studies with some themes and subjects that were formerly neglected. In particular, it provides an overview of the archaeological findings of the last four decades, that in some cases modified our understanding and knowledge of Chinese ancient language and literature. Then it focuses of women’s literature in imperial China, retracing the story of some female authors whose writings actively contributed to shape the history of Chinese literature as we know it today. Finally, it examines the poetic and narrative innovations that occurred between the last decades of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th. According to recent researches, this period paved the way for the so-called modern literature; its production is thus defined as pre-modern literature
