A SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF ITALIAN GRADUATES' WORKING RELATION
The aim of this paper is to analyze how the working realization, reached by the graduates interviewed by AlmaLaurea interuniversity union, changes across the entire national territory according to regions. At first, in order to estimate such a realization by means of a fuzzy algorithm, we match the importance attributed - before getting the degree- to each of eight aspects of the searched job with the corresponding satisfaction perceived three years later. Then, using a multilevel model, we focus on the influence of first level (relative to graduates) and second level (relative to regions) covariates on the overall working realization
Tourism, a powerful driver for Apulian economy

This paper aims at understanding the political, social and economic factors that led Tourism to become one of the most influencing sectors on the development of Apulian economy in the last decade. The analysis is carried out by means of time series data on recent international and domestic touristic flows (arrivals, countries of origin, final destination and level of satisfaction) in order to investigate on the key success factors of the “Apulia” brand. After a brief overview of the touristic industry trend, a detailed regional analysis is carried out, considering also cultural events. More in detail, by means of the budget data of all companies active in Apulian tourism sector, the main financial ratios are calculated and then used in a cluster analysis in order to identify similar management patterns. The source of data is the Regional Tourism Board Pugliapromozione and the observational period goes from 2013 to 2017

Strategic ESG Reporting: Advancing Operational Risk Management in Europe's Innovative Banking Sector
Sustainability concerns extend beyond traditional businesses, enveloping the banking sector where
stakeholders exert considerable pressure for robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG)
disclosures. This study delves into the impact of ESG reporting on the operational risk management
within European banks. By scrutinizing ESG disclosure practices across 192 EU27-listed banks from
2009 to 2019, the investigation reveals a tangible influence of ESG practices on operational risk. The
findings underscore the value of enhanced transparency and accountability, indicating that diligent ESG
reporting can lead to marked improvements in managing banking risks
Showcasing green: how culture influences sustainable behavior in food eco-labeling
Purpose: The aim of this study is to verify, through Hofstede's 6-D model, the impact of national culture on the implementation of eco-labeling activities on the supplier side, in order to provide consumers information about the sustainable behavior adopted by firms. Design/methodology/approach: The authors tested the impact of culture dimensions through an econometric model, on a sample composed by several countries of the world, in which at least a food certification is in force. Findings: Interesting results have been obtained and discussed, proving the existence of a relationship between culture and corporate sustainability showcasing. Cultural heritage has a deep influence on sustainable consumption demand. Firms need to put more effort to showcase their green behavior. Economic indicators have a role in fostering sustainable behavior. Originality/value: Food labeling is little explored, despite its growing importance for consumers. This research is a window in green marketing issues, specifically in global branding strategies
Risk disclosure in sustainability reports: Empirical evidence from the energy sector
Recently, companies in the energy sector have faced multiple financial and environmental risks. This finding demonstrates the need for energy companies to disclose risk information. However, academic attention on risk disclosure (RD) remains limited. Through manual content analysis and a regression model, this study examines the effect of the features of the board of directors and audit committee on the RD level in sustainability reports. The empirical findings reveal that the size and independence of the board of directors and the size of the audit committee positively affect the RD level

Using data analytics to capture the strategic and financial decision-making of Europe's top football club
Since soccer is the most prominent sport in Europe—not to mention the world—it is no wonder that deep strategizing has become the norm in its management models. In this study we extract from real data the hidden and nontrivial relationships that have developed within the game in order to further the current understanding of how a team's performance is premised on its tactical and financial choices. We adopt, for the first time — in combination with an ordered logit model — inequality indexes at the team level. Our analysis uses a large and unique dataset that includes all of the teams from the top five European national championship leagues, including detailed player and team statistics. The results differ between the top-tier and medium-to-bottom tier teams and highlight an overall strategic evolution over the last decade
