No full textIl GIS della Carta Archeologica della Civita di Tarquinia e la raccolta di dati
cartografici e documentali per il corpus delle tombe dipinte di Tarquinia, per-
mettono di contestualizzare in maniera più definita anche i resti pertinenti al
cosiddetto “villaggio villanoviano” del Calvario. Si valutano pertanto gli aspetti
concernenti la sua estensione e collocazione in rapporto alle altre evidenze note
per il medesimo periodo. L’esame della documentazione di scavo e la cartogra-
fia inedita consente, inoltre, la contestualizzazione dei materiali ceramici proto-
storici in relazione alle strutture e al loro preciso punto di rinvenimento, oltre
che la rivalutazione di alcuni aspetti strutturali legati alle piante delle capanne.The GIS Archaeological Map of the Civita of Tarquinia and the collection of
cartographic and documentary data for the corpus of the painted tombs of Tarqui-
nia, allow to contextualize the remains of the “villanovan village” of Calvario in
a more detailed way. The aspects concerning its extension and location in rela-
tion to the other known evidences for the same period are evaluated. Moreover,
the exam of unpublished documentation and cartographies enable to understand
the positioning of the sherds and their relations within the structures, as well as
some aspects concerning the plans of the huts
