No full textAttraverso alcune esemplificazioni significative (pisce tibie; aguminibus et pernis; leve et torni, insieme con obesse e ac igne; la data M°C°XXVIIII°) si discutono le difficoltà incontrate e le soluzioni proposte nel lavoro di preparazione dell’edizione critica della Cronica Sicilie, un testo storiografico trasmesso in varie redazioni e rielaborazioni, come si è potuto accertare con uno studio attento della tradizione manoscritta, cosa che ha reso più lungo e difficile il lavoro, per l’individuazione delle varie parti. La restituzione di un testo affidabile e completo è presupposto indispensabile, infatti, per l’approfondimento dei suoi contenuti informativi e ideologici, e ha richiesto paziente lavoro critico e interpretativo, in quanto è stato necessario procedere con solidi principi metodologici e suggerire scelte testuali con buon senso, dopo accurata valutazione filologica e storico-esegetica

No full textRat thyroid cells in culture, rendered quiescent by hormone deprivation, can be stimulated to undergo DNA synthesis in the absence of serum by the addition of purified thyrotropin. The primary effect in response to thyrotropin action in thyroid cells is the induction of the c-fos oncogene, followed by c-myc expression. This suggests that thyrotropin acts as a competence growth factor
