Dear Friends,
Received your wonderful gift. Thanks very much for it.
I think it is a very wonderful thing you are doing, by sending gifts to service men. Also I have yet to find another College that thinks so much of their graduates as Bryant.

Dear Bryant Service Club,
I received your Easter gift today and was very pleased with it. Cigarettes are one thing which we can always use. I often think of the pleasant times that I had at Bryant. After the war, I am looking forward to going back and finishing my course.
I have been corresponding with many fraternity brothers and former classmates of Bryant and most of them feel the same way about it as I do. So you can expect to see us all back again some day, which I hope will be soon.
At this moment, I am going to school but will finish in about four weeks. Soon after, I expect to be sent overseas. Once again I want to thank you I think the service club is a swell organization and I hope that it keeps up its good work.

Dear Sir:
When a message of thanks is in order a letter is never too late, please accept my apology for a tardy reply.
I want to thank you fellows and girls for the candy which you sent me, all of us enjoyed my package. As soon as the package was given to me at mail call the unanimous statement was, “We eat.”
Please remember me to Messrs. Ripley, Handy, and Hammond, if they are still at Bryant. Some day I hope to be able to attend another Alumni Reunion, and at which time it may be possible to renew acquaintances.
Sincerely yours,
Bill Berth (handwritten) Bill Berth, ‘36 Corporal Signal Corps [Transcription ends
