The Brown family lived and farmed in Meanook alongside the Tawatinaw creek. Farm work was very important, and so too were family and community activities like dancing, playing pool, 4-H and music. With a school teacher mother and bus driver father, education was emphasized and all graduated from Edwin Parr High School. Edwin and Philip pursued business, Jean was a teacher, and Mavis and Shirley are accountant

This report presents plans for the redevelopment of two parks in River Edge, New Jersey, Ken B. George Park and Coles Brook Park. The text of this report is intended to supplement site plans and sketches previously submitted. Ken B. George Park is to be redesigned as a high-use recreational and sport facility, while Coles Brook Park is planned as a low-use park with pilings and boardwalks.
