Full text linkThis essay examines an Italian case of food patrimonialisation, that of the Rascino lentil in the
Lazio region of the Central Apennines, as a case study to reflect on the re-signification of
marginal places and the new forms of valorisation of agricultural production, of the rural
dimension and of local knowledge in relation to communities. We are in a geographical region
which in the 1960s and 1970s was heavily depopulated towards the capital (Rome). Here, the field
research (observation, participation in the cultivation phases, interviews and sharing of the
results), conducted between 2015 and 2017, has permitted us to explore the patrimonialisation
process that has taken place over the years, the groups that have been involved and that have
been formed, the role played by traditional knowledge and the importance that the emergence of
the notion of "cultivated biodiversity" has had in the process

No full textABSTRACT - Ascoltare, dialogare, condividere. Riflessioni sui dilemmi dell'intervista in antropologia.
L'articolo propone una riflessione sull'intervista etnografica intesa come strumento non solo di conoscenza, ma anche come momento di relazione interpersonale nel contesto della ricerca sul campo. Partendo dal cambiamento di prospettiva che ha avuto l'intervista nell'evoluzione dello statuto epistemologico dell'antropologia, dagli approcci positivisti e "estrattivi" a quelli critici e riflessivi, e portando nell'analisi numerosi esempi di ricerca sul campo tratti dall'esperienza nell'ambito dei patrimoni culturali immateriali, l'articolo esplora i diversi aspetti e le problematiche legate all'uso di questo strumento. In antropologia l'intervista sembra oggi sempre più sottratta ad una prospettiva di conoscenza "pura" e orientata verso pratiche di condivisione con i soggetti/oggetti dell'intervista, soggetti che appaiono sempre più protagonisti del setting prodotto dall'intervista e capaci di disarticolare le tradizionali distanze tra "noi" e "loro" sovvertendo a volte le prospettive create dall'antropologo.
ABSTRACT - Listening, dialogue, sharing. Reflections on the dilemmas of the interview in anthropology.
The article proposes a discussion on the ethnographic interview not only as an important tool for acquiring knowledge, but also as a moment of interpersonal relationship in the context of field research. Starting from the change of perspective that the interview has had in the evolution of the epistemological status of anthropology (from positivist and "extractive" approaches to critical and reflective ones) and bringing to the analysis several examples of field research drawn from the experience in the field of intangible cultural heritage, the article explores the different issues and questions related to the use of this tool.
In anthropology, ethnographic interview seems today to be increasingly removed from a perspective of "pure" knowledge and oriented towards practices of sharing with the subjects/objects we meet in the field; these subjects appear to be more and more active actors in the setting produced by the interview and capable of breaking up the traditional distances between "us" and "them", sometimes subverting the same framework built by the anthropologist

No full textIl saggio prende in esame un caso di rituale carnevalesco in un paese irpino e lo analizza alla luce della lettaratura storica sul carnevale ma anche come fenomeno della contemporaneità, mettendolo alla prova con alcuni concetti antropologici, come quello turneriano di "dramma sociale" e la dimensione dell'agentività. Il funerale al carnevale diventa infatti nel contesto, una sorta di parodia del contemporaneo, trama di significati locali, di satira, di sottointesi e di critica sociale nei confronti del potere e dei rapporti tra i generi

The essay proposes a critical analysis, based on an ethnographic approach, on the facial protection devices (mascherine) introduced at a global level to face the Covid pandemic19. While reflecting on how masks are redefining interpersonal relations on a decorporealized basis, on their symbolic dimension, on the relationship with the mask and masking, the contribution focuses on masks as "(s)objects". Seen in their materiality, the masks are in fact proposed as emblematic "agent-objects", invested of
a "thing-power" (Bennet 2004), to influence our behaviour. But also as "acted-objects ", with reference to human agency, to the human capacity to manipulate them, to reinterpret them in ironic and subversive forms
