No full textThe purpose of this article is to outline the theoretical assumptions of the research project which is biographical learning of Halina Semenowicz. The result of qualitative research is planned to build grounded theory relating to the biographical learning, Halina Semenowicz. The analyzes the author used the biographical research methodology by Fritz Schützego. The author begins by presenting a theoretical context by various researchers to understand the biographical learning units. Then discusses the figure of Halina Semenowicz that in pedagogical circles is known as a precursor of Celestin Freinet techniques. Presents, from the formal, left by Halina Semenowicz daires that wrote for thirty-five years of her life, and also discusses the dairy from 1981, the areas of learning that can be specified during the reading of that journal

zachodzących w gospodarce, otoczeniu prawnym i politycznym. W niniejszym artykule
autorka podjęła próbę opisu procesów związanych z rosnącym udziałem handlu internetowego

Challenges and Threats Faced in 2020 by International Logistics Companies Operating on the Polish Market
No full textThe main aim of the article is to present an analysis of the current challenges and threats to the Transport-Forwarding-Logistics (TFL) sector in Poland based on internet surveys. The aim of the article is, therefore, to investigate whether the challenges and threats described by managers in a two-year perspective are related to sustainable development. This area primarily concerns external conditions. On the other hand, in the surveys that were the subjects of the analyses, a section related to sustainable development in economic, environmental, and social terms was identified, in which the focus was primarily on the internal activities of the company. The article has a practical dimension. The article analyzes comments from managers posted in an internet survey. They constitute a separate part of the questionnaire, which mainly concerns financial indicators and other factors that determine the company’s competitiveness. Half of the respondents are companies with foreign capital, and half-Polish companies. Based on the comments over a three-year period with over sixty managers from logistics companies in Poland, an analysis of the most important challenges that companies in the logistics industry have to face in the near future was presented. The survey is a part of a broader research project that has been conducted in the form of a quantitative survey among approximately sixty TFL companies for twenty-five years on an annual basis. The results of the survey are supplemented with an attempt to analyze the current situation in 2020 related to the impending economic recession as a result of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat. The surveyed companies constitute a significant part of the TFL market in Poland. Thus, they are the benchmark for the entire industry. Therefore, an important value of the presented analysis is the up-to-date research, as well as the ability to relate the results and developed scenarios to the entire TFL sector
Zarządzanie różnorodnością jako model biznesowy
Get PDFManaging diversity writes well in the search for new, more effective tools for coping with the environment uncertainty. However, effective utilisation of this model requires much better then hitherto skills from the leaders. It is possible, that the competences allowing releasing the synergy of diversity will become the key competences of the next post-capitalism era. However, the main tissue that allows realization of this strategy remains social capital. Contrary to what might be considered as logical, a rapid drop in social capital follows in the wake of economic crisis. Reconstruction of trust and relationships during the period of better economic situation will require specifi c skills from the leaders, both in enterprises, as well as in states. Referring to the often-discussed problem: whether the leadership has gender, the Author does believe that most effective are mixed teams with equal representation of both genders. Personally, the Author's feels close to the vision of organic leadership, within the framework of which decision is made searching for the solution regarding different opinions - even very contradictory ones. This is the way to create organisms characterized with high adaptive abilities, which actually is the core of management in the changeable conditions.(author's abstract)Zarządzanie różnorodnością wpisuje się w poszukiwanie nowych, bardziej efektywnych narzędzi radzenia sobie z niepewnością otoczenia. Jednak efektywne wykorzystanie tego modelu wymaga znacznie większych umiejętności od przywódców niż dotychczas. Być może właśnie kompetencje, pozwalające na wyzwolenie synergii różnorodności, staną się kluczowymi kompetencjami kolejnej epoki postkapitalizmu. Podstawową tkanką, która pozwala na realizację tej strategii, jest jednak kapitał społeczny. W warunkach kryzysu gospodarczego następuje, wbrew logice, gwałtowny spadek kapitału społecznego. Odbudowanie zaufania i relacji w okresie lepszej koniunktury będzie wymagało szczególnych umiejętności od przywódców zarówno w przedsiębiorstwach, jak też w państwach. Odnosząc się także do często dyskutowanego problemu: czy przywództwo ma płeć, uważam, że najskuteczniejsze są zespoły mieszane, w których w równych częściach reprezentowane są obie płci. Bliska mi jest osobiście wizja przywództwa organicznego, w ramach której podejmuje się decyzje szukając rozwiązania uwzględniającego różne poglądy - nawet bardzo odmienne. W ten sposób tworzy się organizmy o wysokich zdolnościach adaptacyjnych, co w końcu jest sednem zarządzania w zmiennych warunkach. (abstrakt autora

Particular attention will be given to both, the issue of transport congestion as the strongest factor affecting the quality of life of residents and to the role of social capital in the creation of sustainable development. To exemplify the result of the cooperation between southern Polish communities there will be presented a case of the introducing process of the Silesian Card of Public Services with a wide range of its functionality
