Chief value Officer and Impact Assessor: competencies, tools, and technologies for new organizational roles
The crisis of the welfare model, the Italian reform of the so-called “third sector,” organizational hybridizations, and the cultural change concerning social responsibility, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, always led more and more organizations to measure their social and environmental impact. Therefore, they highlight some intangible capitals (intellectual, social, human, and natural) and need new figures that transversally relate to all the functions to guide and evaluate the change they brought in their environment. The Chief Value Officer and the Impact Assessor have objectives, tasks, and competencies, recently defined, trained, and certified, thanks to a collaboration among a school, a service company, and an international body. In this paper, I try to explain how these two new roles can be placed within organizations and how a technological tool can help identify the aptitude of current collaborators to play them; otherwise, the tool can facilitate external recruitmen
Introduction
The freight forwarder was born, historically, as an auxiliary figure in the transport of goods but his traditional profile was soon flanked by various other functions related to the technological, legal and social evolution. Thus, if in the nineties of the last century he was referred to as "transport architect" and more recently as "trade solution provider", today this professional figure must possess vision and skills allowing him to constantly redefine his own strategies and role, to face the multiple challenges of a constantly changing global market.
We are then witness to the evolution of the traditional forwarder into a “freight forwarder 2.0”, more and more specialized, global and digital, capable of rationalizing the entire logistics chain by reducing costs but, at the same time, providing "tailor-made" services to its clientele worldwide.
The purpose of this book is to understand which strategic vision, which distinctive elements and core competencies define an international forwarding company as a freight forwarder 2.0 model and how these characteristics can determine its success in a specific context, specifically the Portuguese one
The sense of impact assessment through the lens of Civil Economy
In this growing awareness of environmental and social impacts by consumers, investors, and institutions, it is fundamental to provide tools to companies to make impact assessment processes quick and efficient to manage risks in time. The method we developed in this research project is a framework to measure impacts based on the principles of the Civil Economy. There are different frameworks nowadays, some are very popular, but none of the existing ones is related to the Civil Economy; this tool will help enterprises to approach this economic paradigm step by step. The new methodology for the impact assessment will be tested on different kinds of firms and two value chains to verify the new metrics' effectiveness and the tool's overall goodness both in single enterprises and in companies’ network
Physical and chemical vapor deposition methods applied to all-inorganic metal halide perovskites
This review focuses on the physical and chemical vapor deposition methods applied to the preparation of all-inorganic metal halide perovskites. Particular emphasis is devoted to the specific characteristic of the available approaches explored in the current literature for lead-based and lead-free films with also examples of the preparation of microstructure and nanostructure for applications beyond perovskite solar cells. Main characteristics, device architectures, and pros and cons of exploited vapor deposition methods are highlighted, providing a guide for future research in the field of all-inorganic perovskite growth

Is ICT innovating doctor-young patient relationships in chronic diseases? Two case studies before e during the pandemic
Purpose. The paper aims to under- stand if digital healthcare can improve young and chronic patient engage- ment. The interpretation follows the doctor-patient relationship, investigat- ing whether telemedicine fosters patients’ engagement and, if they are young, also of their caregivers. Methodology. The study analyses two Italian digital healthcare cases. A questionnaire and semi-structured interviews are administered to detect information on the new telemedicine service’s satisfaction, utility, and usability.
Context. The study shows that e-health can answer the widespread need for well-being without space and time limits, before and during the pan- demic, especially in Italy. It allows the humanization of a technology-driven system, which requires strong patient and community engagement to be built simultaneously.

Main findings. E-health can be a tool to improve the doctor-patient rela- tionship and create a sense of commu- nity among patients. Moreover, patient engagement in a technolo- gy-driven healthcare environment is necessary to implement new treat- ments successfully.
Conclusion. We tested new digital healthcare services unique in Italy to understand the point of view of young and chronicle patients and their care- givers to contribute to a bottom-up harmonization process of e-health
