No full textAdenopygus heikoi Bolfarini & de Mello, sp. n. (Table I; Figs. 1–4). Etymology. Species dedicated to Heiko Poehlemanl, owner of Kolibri Farm where the specimens were obtained. Material examined. Brazil, SP, São José dos Campos, São Francisco Xavier district, Fazenda Kolibri, ca. 1,300 m alt., 10-23.III. 2006, M. P. Bolfarini, leg.: Male holotype, 7 male paratypes, 58 female paratypes. Repositories. A. heikoi, n. sp.: Male holotype, 3 male paratypes, 4 female paratypes [MZSP]; 4 male paratypes, 54 female paratypes [UBTU]. Description. Overall aspect marbled dark brown on yellowish background, covered with micro pilosity and bristles. Male: Dorsum of head yellowish with darker longitudinal bands; interocular region dark brown; eyes black (Fig. 1 E); antennal scape little pigmented, flagellum brownish with isolated white annuli throughout its length; front dark brown with lighter mark shaped as an inverted Y; gena medium brown with a darker maculae above; clypeus medium brown, its middle portion unpigmented; labrum light yellow on mid-portion and medium smoky brown on sides; maxillary palpi white with light-brown spots, 3 rd and 4 th joints small (Fig. 1 D), 5 th joint light brown on lateral and ventral faces, dorsal face with white band along midline except in portion immediately preceding apical truncation. Disk of pronotum marbled dark brown; fore wings medium brown with edges and region along dividing vein whitish; femur and tibia I and II banded with brown on yellow background; external face of femur III yellowish, especially in anterior region, adorned with oblique light-brown bands and brown maculae, genicular area reddish brown with sparse pilosity; hind tibia inconspicuously banded brown on yellow background. Supraanal plate medium brown with lighter spots (Figures 1 I, and 2 K-M); abdominal tergites ochre; subgenital plate medium brown (fig. 1 J, 2 J); cerci yellow with irregular spots. No full textAdenopygus friederickeae Bolfarini & de Mello, sp. n. (Table I; Figs. 5–8). Etymology. Species dedicated to Friederick Mundt, owner of Kolibri Farm, where the specimens were found. Material examined. Brazil, SP, São José dos Campos, São Francisco Xavier district, Fazenda Kolibri, ca. 1,300 m alt., 10–23. III. 2006, M. P. Bolfarini, leg.: Male holotype, 2 female paratypes. Repositories. A. friederickeae, n. sp.: Male holotype, 2 female paratypes [MZSP]. Description. Similar to A. heikoi, with the following differences: body coloring darker in general, not clearly marbled. Male: Head dark brown with irregular lines, and yellowish on dorsum, which is also provided with a pair of sub-circular dark-brown maculae bordered by yellow rectangle close to margin of occiput (Fig. 5 A), eyes black (Fig. 5 E, 6 C), front and genas and bases of mandibles dark brown; clypeus dark brown with lower portion lighter; labrum milky in color. Disk of pronotum dark brown with an indistinct, orange median longitudinal line; lateral lobes almost black; wing similar to that of A. heikoi, but with much narrower white band along external margins; femur III with oblique bands of dim brown pigmentation, external face with slightly more pubescence. Dorsum of abdomen medium brown with speckled white sagittal line (Fig. 6 A); supra-anal plate light brown (Figs. 6 J-M); cerci yellowish to light brown (proximal portion darker on ventral face); abdominal sternites yellow to orange; subgenital plate dark brown with region of dorso-proximal angles yellowish (Fig. 6 I). Phallic complex as in Figure 7 A–D. Female: Differs from male by the following characteristics: pair of brown maculae rimmed with yellow, near occiput margin, almost completely fused; supra-anal plate transversely divided, proximal half light brown under a yellow background and distal half with two dark-brown maculae on lateral region, separated by subtriangular yellowish area; abdominal sternites light yellow; subgenital plate translucent.
