Compact Self-Octaplexing Circular EMSIW Antenna for Sub-6 GHz Communication Systems
A compact eighth mode circular substrate integrated waveguide (EMSIW) self-octaplexing antenna is proposed for sub-6 GHz communication systems in this paper. The designed antenna consists of coaxial fed eight EMSIW cavity resonators arranged in circular fashion. Each EMSIW cavity resonator utilizes the fundamental TM010 mode of the circular SIW cavity. The designed antenna operates at eight distinct frequencies of sub-6 GHz frequency spectrum. Isolations better than 23 dB is obtained among the different ports of the designed antenna. Moreover, each frequency band of designed antenna exhibits independent tunability without affecting the other frequency bands. Each resonator of the designed antenna can be tuned to any frequency between 3-5 GHz. The self-octaplexing antenna operates at 3.35, 3.58, 3.73, 3.91, 4.09, 4.32, 4.61 and 4.96 GHz with respective gains of 4.53, 4.62, 4.67, 4.74, 3.83, 3.89, 3.42, 3.55 dBi. The proposed antenna exhibits high inter-port isolation, good radiation characteristics and compact dimensions which makes it suitable candidate for sub-6 GHz communication systems
Application of Dielectric Resonator Antenna in Implantable Medical Devices
Wireles biomedical telemetry through Implantable Medical Devices (IMD) has been one of the major interest of human kind in present times due to life supporting advantages. As sensors, actuators, battery and antenna comprises the IMD and role of efficient radiator describes the quality of implantable device. However, Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRA) have been proved more efficient in comparison to their contemporaries in different applications due to its inherent properties, but application of DRA in implantable devices is not proposed yet. In this paper, a rectangular DRA resonating at 2.45 GHz excited by coplanar waveguide feed has been proposed for in depth implantable applications
THE METAPHYSICAL PRINCIPLE IN THE BHAGAVADGĪTĀ 2.27
A metaphysical principle is stated in Bhagavadgītā 2.27, which deals with the relationship between the first and the last of the six vikāras (modes) of bhāva (being). But, none of the traditional commentators of the Bhagavadgītā could grasp the exact meaning and significance of this metaphysical principle. These commentators turned the metaphysical principle erroneously into a theory of cycle of birth and death in the saṃsāra governed by law of karma. The traditional commentators are not actually faithful to the nuances of the terms and syntax of the verses due to their prior doctrinal commitments, which prevent them from seeing the meaning present in them. The modern commentators like Angelika Malinar see Bhagavadgītā 2.27 as part of a Kṛṣṇa’s speech of consolation for grieving Arjuna. This reading is also problematic. If Kṛṣṇa’s speech in Bhagavadgītā 2.11-30 is a speech of consolation then given the kind of metaphysical statements are included in the speech, it would also automatically become a speech for justification of killing and war. It will be argued in the present essay that the metaphysical principle stated in Bhagavadgītā 2.27 is necessary for explaining the idea of yajña karma, which is collective institutional action.Agarwala, Binod Kumar, THE METAPHYSICAL PRINCIPLE IN THE BHAGAVADGĪTĀ 2.27. Manipulating the radiation pattern of equilateral triangular dielectric resonator antenna using asymmetric grooves
A new method to manipulate the radiation pattern of a triangular dielectric resonator antenna is proposed here. By engraving asymmetric grooves in the antenna walls, the intensity of electric fields on its walls is adjusted, which, if properly done, leads to an increase in the directivity of the antenna. Then, the possibility of rotating the radiation pattern by creating asymmetric grooves in the antenna wall is investigated. It is proved that by adjusting the ratio of the amplitude of equivalent magnetic currents on the antenna walls, rotation can be created in the main beam of the antenna pattern. The simulation results are validated by measuring the reflection coefficient, radiation patterns, and gain of the DRA. The measured results confirm that the antenna operates from 3.1 to 3.8 GHz and the maximum gain is 9.2 dBi
Low-loss MIMO antenna wireless communication system for 5G cardiac pacemakers
Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are one of the leading causes of death globally. The Internet of things (IoT) enabled with industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) bands (2.45 and 5.8 GHz) facilitates pacemakers to remotely share heart health data to medical professionals. For the first time, communication between a compact dual-band two-port multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna (integrated inside the leadless pacemaker) and an outside-body dual-band two-port MIMO antenna in the ISM 2.45 and 5.8 GHz frequency bands is demonstrated in this work. The proposed communication system offers an attractive solution for cardiac pacemakers as it can operate on a 5G IoT platform while also being compatible with existing 4G standards. The experimental verification of the proposed MIMO antenna low-loss communication capability is also presented by comparing it to the existing single-input-single-output communication between the leadless pacemaker and outside body monitoring device
A Review on Different Techniques of Mutual Coupling Reduction Between Elements of Any MIMO Antenna. Part 2: Metamaterials and Many More
This two‐part article presents a review of different techniques of mutual coupling (MC) reduction. MC reduction is a primary concern while designing a compact multiple‐input‐multiple‐output (MIMO) antenna where the separation between the antennas is less than λ0/2, that is, half of the free‐space wavelength. The negative permittivity and permeability of artificially created materials/structures (Metamaterials) significantly help reduce MC among narrow‐band compact MIMO antenna design elements. In this part two of the review paper, we will discuss techniques: Metamaterials; Split‐Ring‐Resonator; Complementary‐Split‐Ring‐Resonator; Frequency Selective Surface, Metasurface, Electromagnetic Band Gap structure, Decoupling and Matching network, Neutralization line, Cloaking Structures, Shorting vias and pins and few more

Domestic violence is a pervasive issue globally, and Nepal is no exception, with women being subjected to different types of violence within their households. This research aims to study the association between women's education level and the incidence of spousal physical domestic violence against women in Nepal, utilizing data from the Department of Health Services (DHS) dataset of Nepal in 2016. Moreover, it examines the significance of women's education level in predicting the likelihood of experiencing physical domestic violence, while controlling for other relevant socio-demographic factors. This research adopts a quantitative approach, analyzing data collected from the DHS survey in Nepal, which provides a representative sample of women and men across the country. The dataset encompasses information on women's and men's demographic characteristics, educational levels, and experiences of physical domestic violence. Descriptive statistics, chi- square tests, logistic regression models, and controlling for relevant socio-demographic factors will be employed to investigate the research questions. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the association between women's education and physical spousal domestic violence against women in Nepal. It is hypothesized that higher education levels among women will be associated with a lower incidence of physical domestic violence. Additionally, it is expected that the husband's education level will have an impact on the prevalence of physical domestic violence against their spouses. Furthermore, this research will shed light on the importance of womens education and creating a safer environment within spousal relationships.

Circularly polarized differential intra-oral antenna design validation and characterization for tongue drive system
Abstract Assistive devices are becoming increasingly popular for physically disabled persons suffering tetraplegia and spinal cord injuries. Intraoral tongue drive system (iTDS) is one of the most feasible and non-invasive assistive technology (AT), which utilises the transferring and inferring of user intentions through different tongue gestures. Wireless transferring is of prime importance and requires a suitable design of the intra-oral antenna. In this paper, a compact circularly polarized differential intra-oral antenna is designed, and its performance is analysed within heterogeneous multilayer mouth and head models. It works at 2.4 GHz in the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) band. The footprint of the differential antenna prototype is 0.271 λg × 0.271 λg × 0.015 λg. It is achieved using two pairs of spiral segments loaded in diagonal form near the edges of the central rotated square slot and a high dielectric constant substrate. Its spiral-slotted geometry further provides the desired swirling and miniaturization at the desired frequency band for both mouth scenarios. Additionally, corner triangular slits on the radiating patch assist in tuning the axial ratio (< 3 dB) in the desired ISM band. To validate the performance of the proposed in-mouth antenna, the measurement was carried out using the minced pork and the saline solution for closed and opened mouth cases, respectively. The measured − 10 dB impedance bandwidth and peak gain values in the minced pork are from 2.28 to 2.53 GHz (10.39%) and − 18.17 dBi, respectively, and in the saline solution, are from 2.3 to 2.54 GHz (9.92%) and − 15.47 dBi, respectively. Further, the specific absorption rate (SAR) is estimated, and the data communication link is computed with and without a balun loss. This confirms that the proposed differential intraoral antenna can establish direct interfacing at the RF front end of the intraoral tongue drive system
