Type:— Taiwan Island: Nantou Hsien, Wanghsiang, 17 December 1984, J.-L .Tsai T10379a-d (TCF). Notes: This nothospecies is a hybrid between Glaphyropteridopsis erubescens (Wallich ex Hooker 1863: 236) Ching (1963: 320) and Pseudocyclosorus esquirolii (Christ 1907: 144–145) Ching (1963: 324). This hybrid is an allotetraploid with 72 bivalent chromosomes, which has intermediate morphology of the parents (Shieh & Tsai 1987).
