A Bibliometric Analysis on Energy Efficiency and Conservation
Energy efficiency and conservation are pivotal in addressing global energy challenges and promoting sustainability. This paper presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis spanning 1976 to 2023, aiming to reveal the nuanced dynamics of the field. Utilizing the Scopus database and bibliometric analysis tools like VOSviewer, we explored publication trends, platform rankings, publication types, global distribution, and interconnected research themes. The dominance of top platforms like Energy and Journal of Cleaner Production underscored their significance, with insights into the role of conference proceedings and specialized platforms like Energy Efficiency. Journal articles prevailed, reflecting the academic community’s commitment to peer-reviewed channels, while diverse publication forms and subject areas highlighted a multifaceted approach. The global landscape showcased the United States’ leadership, with impactful contributions from Indonesia, fostering collaboration between developed and developing nations. VOSviewer visualizations revealed interconnected research themes, emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of climate change and sustainable development. This study offers valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, guiding them to understand historical trends, identify influential platforms, recognize interdisciplinary patterns, and foster global collaborations to shape a more sustainable energy future

Social and historical aspects of the assimilation of Christianity in Southeast Asia from 1500-1900 with reference to Thailand and the Philippines
Though many have attempted to address the complexities of the encounter between Christianity and non-western societies, the literature has not dealt much with Southeast Asia. This article attempts to help fill that gap by examining some of the factors affecting the assimilation of Christianity in Southeast Asia by looking at two countries in detail: Thailand and the Philippines. These two
countries offer strikingly different assimilation results. Thailand was not colonized when Christianity was introduced while in the Philippines colonization and Christianity were intimately linked. As a result, both Thailand and the Philippines are a study in contrasts
The Role of Marketing Capabilities and Integrative Capabilities for Business Model Innovation in Small Business Indonesian Culinary Sector
This empirical study is about developing business model innovations based on the antecedents of marketing capabilities and integrative capabilities in the culinary sector in Indonesia. Specifically, the respondents used are 136 small-scale businesses from various regions in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out in the range of September 2020 through questionnaires distributed through digital channels. This research is quantitative research by using SMART-PLS as a statistical tool. The research orientation is to see the effect of marketing capability and integrative capability on business model innovation and firm performance, also the effect of business model innovation on performance. The results of this study found that marketing capabilities affect business model innovation and performances. Another finding is integrative capabilities affects business model innovation but does not affect firm performance, and furthermore the construct of the business model innovation itself affects performance. This finding is important for the culinary sector which is the leading sector in the creative economy in Indonesia. The central role of business model innovation is also the orientation of forming a strategic posture for small-scale business actors who are still entrepreneurial in order to make their business to be strategic. Phylogenetic diversity of microbial communities in real drinking water distribution systems
Microbial regrowth in drinking water distribution systems (DWDS) is a major concern in the water supply industry. Detailed knowledge of the microbial community in DWDS will be of great importance for assessing the microbiological risks of drinking water. The spatial heterogeneity of microbial community structures in the bulk waters of a large real DWDS was investigated using 16S rRNA clone library analysis. The results indicate that high residual chlorine in drinking water could not control microbial regrowth in DWDS. The bacterial communities in the bulk waters were spatially heterogenic, mainly composed of Alphaproteobacteria and Betaproteobacteria (or Cyanobacteria). Microorganisms from the genera Acinetobacter, Sphingomonas and Gemella were detected, implying there is microbiological risk from drinking water. The transient was first detected with the Wide-field X-ray Telescope as an intense flare lasting for ∼100 s, reaching a luminosity of L0.5‑4 keV ≈ 1048 erg s‑1. Further observations with EP's Follow-up X-ray Telescope reveal a huge drop in the X-ray flux by a factor of >1000 within 1.5 days. After maintaining a nearly plateau phase for ∼7 days, the X-ray flux decreases ∝t‑1.2 over a period of ∼30 days, followed by a sudden decrease to an undetectable level by EP and XMM-Newton, making it the longest afterglow emission detected among known fast X-ray transients. Bright counterparts at optical and radio wavelengths were also detected, with high peak luminosities in excess of 1044 erg s‑1 and 1041 erg s‑1, respectively. In addition, EP241021a exhibits a nonthermal X-ray spectrum, red optical color, X-ray and optical rebrightenings in the light curves, and fast radio spectral evolution, suggesting that relativistic jets may have been launched. We discuss the possible origins of EP241021a, including a choked jet with supernova shock breakout, a merger-triggered magnetar, a highly structured jet, and a repeating partial tidal disruption event involving an intermediate-mass black hole, but none can perfectly explain the multiwavelength properties. EP241021a may represent a new type of X-ray transient with month-duration evolution timescales; future EP detections and follow-up observations of similar systems will provide statistical samples to understand the underlying mechanisms at work. © 2025.
