    Palliolinae Korobkov in Eberzin, 1960 Diagnosis. Pectinidae with an inner shell surface microstructure of irregularly foliated calcite, producing small reflective surfaces on the inner surface of well-preserved shells. Remarks. This subfamily was defined for the first time by Waller (2006a: 10, fig. 1.2) for genera related to Palliolum and Mesopeplum.
