Title of the selection by the Armstrong-Hampton Nonet is “Goldwyn Stomp,” As confirmed by Samuel Goldwyn test acetates (see REEL No. ET-21). See also further comment on those aoetates on REEL No. ET-21. In terms of complete or partial renditions, titles in which Benny Goodman participated are shown correctly above, and on REEL No. ET-21. These details differ in minor degree from those shown in “BG-OTR.”Connor DR (Donald R.) Benny Goodman: Listen to His Legacy. In 2009, The Institute of Jazz Studies received a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to digitize two of its most significant bodies of sound recordings: the Benny Carter and Benny Goodman Collections. The D. Russell Connor collection of Benny Goodman audio recordings contains 396 reel-to-reel tapes of rare and unreleased performances compiled over four decades and donated by D. Russell Connor, a Benny Goodman biographer and discographer. It represents the most complete collection of Goodman recordings anywhere and includes reels from Goodman's personal archive, as well as those of many Goodman researchers and collectors worldwide. In June 2011, the digitization process was completed. Project staff included: Ed Berger (Project Director), Ryan Maloney, Robert Nahory, Vincent Pelote, Joe Peterson, Scott Wenzel. Project Engineers: Duke Markos, Seth B. Winner

abstrak (A) Nama : Benny Kusuma ( N.I.M : 205030193 ) (B) Judul Skripsi : Analisis Penerapan Perundang-Undangan Lingkungan Hidup Dalam Rangka Penanggulangan Pencemaran Limbah Di Marunda Jakarta Utara (C) Halaman : vii + 93 + 9 + 2009 (D) Kata Kunci : Pencemaran Limbah, Hukum Lingkungan (E) Isi : Kelurahan Marunda Jakarta Utara merupakan daerah yang menjadi korban pencemaran limbah. MeSH term explosion and author rank improve expert recommendations

    No full text
Information overload is an often-cited phenomenon that reduces the productivity, efficiency and efficacy of scientists. One challenge for scientists is to find appropriate collaborators in their research. The literature describes various solutions to the problem of expertise location, but most current approaches do not appear to be very suitable for expert recommendations in biomedical research. In this study, we present the development and initial evaluation of a vector space model-based algorithm to calculate researcher similarity using four inputs: 1) MeSH terms of publications; 2) MeSH terms and author rank; 3) exploded MeSH terms; and 4) exploded MeSH terms and author rank. We developed and evaluated the algorithm using a data set of 17,525 authors and their 22,542 papers. On average, our algorithms correctly predicted 2.5 of the top 5/10 coauthors of individual scientists. Exploded MeSH and author rank outperformed all other algorithms in accuracy, followed closely by MeSH and author rank. Our results show that the accuracy of MeSH term-based matching can be enhanced with other metadata such as author rank
