Analysis of the position and theoretical, ideological and aesthetic proposals of the futurist writer Maria Goretti in the Forties and in connection with the fascist dictatorship. Comparison between the statements of Maria Goretti and those of the writer Valentine de Saint-Point; examination of the critical reading of the work of Benedetta (Cappa Marinetti) presented by Maria Goretti
Psychrophilic yeasts from worldwide glacial habitats: diversity, adaptation strategies and biotechnological potential
Glacial habitats (cryosphere) include some of the largest unexplored and
extreme biospheres on Earth. These habitats harbor a wide diversity of psychrophilic
prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms. These highly specialized
microorganisms have developed adaptation strategies to overcome the direct
and indirect life-endangering influence of low temperatures. For many years
Antarctica has been the geographic area preferred by microbiologists for studying
the diversity of psychrophilic microorganisms (including yeasts). However,
there have been an increasing number of studies on psychrophilic yeasts sharing
the non-Antarctic cryosphere. The present paper provides an overview of
the distribution and adaptation strategies of psychrophilic yeasts worldwide.
Attention is also focused on their biotechnological potential, especially on their
exploitation as a source of cold-active enzymes and for bioremediation purposes
Playful Learning for Kids with Special Educational Needs
It has been verified that today in the Italian schools there are about 15–20% of students presenting different kinds of “Special Educational Needs”. In order to respond to BES, the schools follow the Customized Learning Plan (PDP), a useful tool for designing operational models, strategies, systems and learning criteria for each student. For the various operators involved in the treatment of the disorders and also for the parents, it is of great importance to have adequate, efficient and flexible support tools that respect the desires and the enthusiasm of children of different age, without creating additional psychological and social discomfort. This research presents a particular relevance focus on the issue of management of entertainment and playful learning through digital systems offering a ‘playful interaction’. New concepts of ‘game’ and ‘device for interactive activities’ offer screen-based compounds to scenarios on the relation between user and device, including physical activities or integrated physical gestures, which relate the observation of screen to the physical reality
A Phygital Approach to Playful Experience in Learning Process for Kids with Special Educational Needs
Screen-based interactive devices stand as effective supports for
playful experience in learning processes for kids with special educational
needs. The paper presents a design path of the development
of a new phygital tool able to support and to improve the treatment
of some learning disorder. In line with the state-of-the-art of
theoretical research about playful learning in children with special
needs, the research moves from the development of ‘1,2,3 Stella!’
app, that works with a screen-based interaction learning process, to
the possibilities offered by product-screen interaction. The research,
through tests on prototype provided by NuovaMente Children’s
Diagnostic Centre, concludes that the development of hybrid reality
game, involving both physical and virtual reality, improves
therapeutic treatment in children with special needs
Aeropoema guerriero quasi romanzo», for which Marinetti had written one of his «Collaudi». The reading and examination of the unpublished text are conducted in the light of the previous works of Maria Goretti, author of a theoretical text, «La donna e il Futurismo» (Woman and Futurism), and of an essay, «Poesia della macchina» (Poetry of the Machine)

Maturational Trajectory of Processing Speed Performance in Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis
Processing speed is a frequently affected cognitive domain in pediatric multiple sclerosis (MS) and is commonly assessed using the Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT). The objective of this study was to determine maturational trajectories in SDMT performance and baseline factors affecting trajectories in a sample of 82 pediatric MS individuals. Performance on the SDMT increased with age in patients with pediatric MS followed by a subsequent decline. Furthermore, patients who were older at disease onset and had a higher IQ showed greater gains with age, suggesting that these factors may be protective with respect to cognitive maturation in pediatric MS
