Report on farming operation in the Indian reserve and conditons of the Indians to Benton. One wheat field of 2000 acres covered and completed. Currently plating 500 acres of barley. Beale describes the Indian laborers as hard working. Beale claims that the Indians are happy and proposes giving responsibilities to Indian Chiefs to oversee their tribemembers in their work. Enclosed this letter to T. H. Benton
