Gaziz Gobeydullin is a prominent figure not only for his works on history but also for his works on literature, religion, philosophy, nationality and national spirit. Gobeydullin, who was among the scientists invited to Baku by Neriman Nerimanov for the preparation of national cadres to govern the state, had a Turkic unityist worldview and paid the price for this by being shot in Baku on October 13, 1937 together with Khalid Seyid Khojayev and Bekir Sıtlı Çobanzade. Gobeydullin studied at the Faculty of History-Philology of Kazan University under the supervision of Khakas Turk Turk Turcologists N. F. Katanov and N. N. Firsov and made important studies in the fields of history, literature, nationality and national spirit. Gobeydullin was also closely interested in Turko-Tatar folk literature and gave due importance to the place of folk literature in Turko-Tatar literature. Gobeydullin also published an independent article on the epic of Seyyid Battal Gazi. Gobeydullin became the scholar of Turkish origin who wrote the oldest scientific article on Seyyid Battal Gazi epic in the Turkic world with his article titled "In the Tugri of Seyyid Battal Gazi Story" published in the 22nd issue of Shura magazine dated 1911. Gobeyddullin's article has not been mentioned in the studies on the epic in Turkey. With this study, we aimed to present this article of Gobeyddullin to the attention of scholars in Turkey. In the study, firstly Gobeyddullin is introduced in main outlines and then the translation of his article into Turkish is given. Before the translation into Turkish, the content and importance of Gobeydullin's article were evaluated. The original text of the article in Arabic script is given at the end of the article. Gobeydullin's approach to the epic in question, his findings and interpretations are still relevant today. Gobeydullin's article draws attention with its method, topics, interpretations and conclusions

Einstein's theory of general relativity is the currently accepted theory of gravity. However, alternative gravitational theories that are constructed by modifying general relativity are being studied for a long time. In the beginning, the work on the alternative theories, starting with Brans-Dicke, was mainly motivated by theoretical completeness. However, with the supernova observations done in late 1990s, it was found that the is experiencing an accelerated expansion period. The standard cosmological model that is based on general relativity, explains this with the use of a cosmological constant (Λ) and dark energy. However, the nature of dark energy is yet to be determined and this caused the motivation for studying alternative gravitational theories to get stronger. An interesting group of alternative gravitational theories that gets it's motivation from super string theory is the Gauss-Bonnet family of gravitational theories. In this study, f(G), f(R,G) and f(G,T) theories of gravitation will be examined and their applications in the Bianchi Type I universe will be compared to the results of general relativity

Structural, mechanical and thermodynamic properties of N-dope BBi compound under pressure

    No full text
.The structural, mechanical and thermodynamic properties of N-dope BBi compound have been reported in the current study. The structural and mechanical results of the studied binary compounds (BN and BBi) and their ternary alloys BBi1−x N x structures are presented by means of density functional theory. The exchange and correlation effects are taken into account by using the generalized gradient approximation functional of Wu and Cohen which is an improved form of the most popular Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof. The quasi-harmonic Debye model is used for the thermodynamic properties of studied materials. The basic physical properties of considered structures such as the equilibrium lattice parameter (a 0), bulk modulus (B 0), its pressure derivative (B′), elastic constants (C 11, C 12 and C 44), Kleinman’s internal-strain parameter (ƺ), shear modulus anisotropy (A), the average shear modulus (G), Young’s modulus (Y) and Poisson’s ratio (v), B 0/G ratio, microhardness parameter (H), Cauchy pressure (C″), and 1st and 2nd Lame constants (λ, μ), debye temperature (θ D), wave velocities (ν l, ν t and ν m), melting temperature (T m) and minimum thermal conductivity (κ min) have been calculated at zero pressure. In order to obtain more information, thermodynamic properties, such as internal energy (U), Helmoltz free energy (F), entropy (S), Debye temperature (θ D), thermal expansion (α), constant volume and pressure heat capacities (C V and C P ), are analyzed under the whole range from 0 to 20 GPa and temperature range from 0 to 1500 K. The obtained results of the studied binary compounds are in coincidence with experimental works

    Variations on the Author

    No full text
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Alternati̇ve gravi̇tati̇on theory f(R,T) and appli̇ed of thi̇s theory to cosmologi̇cal models

Daha sonra f(R) ve f(R,T) teorilerinin yapısından ve bu sorunlara getirdikleri çözümlerden bahsedilip son olarak da her üç teorinin birbirleri ile karşılaştırılması adına Bianchi tip I ve V modellerindeki çözümleri incelenerek benzerlikleri veya farkları ortaya konmuşturThe problems of General Relativity about the late time acceleration of the universe have led to the emergence of some alternative gravitational theories. Nowadays, f (R) and f (R, T) theories are the most studied in the literature. In addition to explaining the late time acceleration of the universe without the need for dark energy, these theories complement other points where General Relativity is lacking. Although f (R,T) theories are a relatively new theory, it is widely studied in the literature. One of the main reasons for this is that the action equation is due to the trace of the energy-momentum tensor T. This commitment leads to different field equations for each L_m to be selected. This shows that quantum effects can be found in the field equation. In this study, firstly, the theory of general relativity and the situations in which it suffers are mentioned. Afterward, the structure of f (R) and f (R,T) theories and their solutions to these problems are mentioned and finally, the similarities or differences are examined by analyzing the solutions in Bianchi type I and V models in order to compare each of the three theories with each other
