Alps_Hyper_Cycle. Osservatorio sui frammenti di origine produttiva-artigianale nella Valle dell’Adige
In the singular or diffuse “peripheries” produced by the crisis, the recent urban residues of productive origin appear unlikely removed, if only for parts. The idea is the work of “discovery” of the fragments, the re-cycle for the urban project, the “creative” redesign of the existing for an ecological city. This means operate on the inconsistency of these fragments, elevating them to new forms of permanence, that is seemingly useless products of everyday life, a “paradigm” of production, able to draw new figurative structures of the city. The meaning of hyper-cycle is enclosed in this project of urban transformation, which corresponds to the activation at the same time of multiple cycles of life on the same reality, to make it more efficient and responsive to the needs of today, not in conflict with the environment, more inclusive from a social point of view, more effective from an energy point of view

And the ruins earn our attention, because they make us feel the time, they are the mirror of our existential condition, generous promises that turn our attention in emotion. It is not just to preserve the past, we must be able to feel their breath. To design the existing we have to think in a mnemonic way, the emotional artifice that helps to transform the traces in memory of the actual experience. This paper is focused on the role of the contemporary project as narrative and mnemonic device in the archaeological invisible landscapes. The topic will be expressed through the analysis of best practices and the applied experimental design for the case study of Aquileia

Fundamentals dell’abitare il limite / Living the limit fundamentals
Holes and hollow spaces are one of the refuges fundamentals families able to establishing relational relationships with the matter. Architecture as refuge is one of the first forms of generating spaces for living in an extreme condition, required thicknesses to accommodate specific human places in the mountains orographic slopes. Architecture as refuge is cavities to protect, composition of elements designed to confine, a space designed for rest, thinking, contemplating, for the emotions in relationship with others by self. In the collective imagination, the natural refuge is a minimal space, niche, grotto, burrow, cave. In architecture, the refuge is made “by remove”, dig, drill, enlarge, look through, hide. The wall becomes a limit in which to accommodate parasites voids, refuge walls. Host walls and parasites holes, for necessity. To take the theme of limit space as experimentation filed for the project, means to reflect on early architectural measures, such as a dialogue between full and empty elements, from the basic operations of unveiling and revealing, glow and shadow, sound and wind, and invisibility, transparency and perception, human faces projected in the construction of the refuge walls inside a so marginal measure. Massive walls, edge limit and thickness with variable section, mono material solids, free of facade, are the figures of an architecture that works for empty grafts, refuge space generator of living the limit
