Interior detail, industrial look of ceiling, looking up to roof with spine of windows and corrugated sheet metal; Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA) is a publicly owned performing and visual arts center. The building was designed by Barton Myers Associates of Los Angeles and Architekton of Tempe. The Center features a roof made of complex geometric folded plates. The building hosts an art gallery and community theater, dance and music groups. It includes a 600-seat proscenium theater, a 200-seat studio theater and a 3,500 square-foot gallery. MAG traffic generator study : survey data from Arizona State University
The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is responsible for the travel demand models used to forecast multi-modal travel behavior in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The main campus of Arizona State University (ASU), located in Tempe, is one of the urban area's largest traffic generators. It has several unique characteristics that influence travel behavior: a large daytime (non-resident) population, a high percentage of pedestrian and bicycle trips, heavy use of perimeter parking facilities, and "school" as the primary trip purpose for a large percentage of trips
