Buenoa dilaticrus Barbosa, Nessimian
Buenoa dilaticrus Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira- Keppler Fig. 13–17 Buenoa dilaticrus Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler, 2010 a: 50 [Type localities: Brazil, State of Amazonas, Barcelos Municipality, Serra do Aracá, igarapé da Anta; Serra do Aracá, igarapé; State of Roraima, Alto Alegre, Serra de Surucucus, Rio Talemu-u baixo; Types in Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (Brazil) and Coleção Entomológica Professor José alfredo Pinheiro Dutra – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)]. Comments. Buenoa dilaticrus resembles B. tibialis Truxal, 1957 in general appearance, including the color pattern. According to Barbosa et al. (2010 a), in both species the head and thorax are yellow, posterior region of hemelytra and abdomen dark brown; rostral prong originating laterally on proximal region, shorter than the third rostral segment and with its apex rounded; the fore femur lacking a stridulatory area; internal margin of fore tibia apically projected; and the hind femur sinuous. Buenoa dilaticrus can be distinguished by its tylus being strongly inflated and rounded (Fig. 13); lateral expansion at the base of external margin of mid-tibia (Fig. 16); hind femur with a line of crests on internal margin, each one with a short seta at apex; and left clasper with hook well developed apically (fig. 17). Buenoa tibialis possesses a tylus slightly inflated (Fig. 50); mid-tibia enlarged at median region of external margin; hind femur sinuous with a line of short spines on inner surface; and left clasper with hook short and rounded apically (Fig. 52). The expanded mid-tibia of B. dilaticrus is very similar to that of B. oreia Nieser, Melo, Pelli, De Campos Barbosa, 1997, although the last species does not occur in the Amazon Region and is distinctly bigger, including its distinct rostral prong, among other features. Buenoa exilidens Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler
Buenoa exilidens Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler Fig. 18–20 Buenoa exilidens Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler, 2010 a: 52 [Type locality: Brazil, State of Amazonas, Barcelos Municipality, Serra do Aracá, base, Igarapé da Anta; Types in Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (Brazil)]. Comments. Buenoa exilidens is similar, in general appearance, to B. platycnemis (Fieber, 1851) with its dark brown color and rostral prong originating laterally on the distal region of the third rostral segment, and distinctly longer than this segment. According to Barbosa et al. (2010 a), B. exilidens differs from the first species by its rostral prong being thinner (Fig. 18, 43); the pronotum not tricarinate; the apex of the fore femur a little narrower (Fig. 19, 44); the stridulatory area with four to seven irregular ridges; and the claspers distinct (Fig. 20, 45). The pronotum of Buenoa platycnemis is distinctly tricarinate, and the stridulatory area has 11 to 14 well-marked ridges. The rostral prong of B. exilidens is similar to that of B. tumaquensis Padilla-Gil, 2010, a species that occurs in Colombia. Buenoa exilidens, however, lacks the parallel striae perpendicular to the stridulatory comb of the fore femur, with fewer ridges, and less teeth on the stridulatory comb of the fore tibia than in B. tumaquensis. Martarega oriximinaensis Barbosa, Ribeiro, Ferreira-Keppler 2010
Martarega oriximinaensis Barbosa, Ribeiro, Ferreira-Keppler, 2010 (Figures 6A–G, 14B) Martarega oriximinaensis Barbosa, Ribeiro, Ferreira-Keppler, 2010: 60 [Brazil]. Martarega oriximinaensis was described from Pará State (Figure 14B). This species is apparently more closely related to M. hungerfordi. This species shares with M. oriximinaensis the hind trochanter with a sharp concavity at its distal end (compare Figures 6D,E and 7B) and a median narrow stripe not bifurcated at apex of hemelytra (Figure 6A,B). Martarega oriximinaensis can be easily recognized by (1) the presence of one or two groups of short bristles near the lateral margin of the mesotrochanter (Figure 6C), (2) the distinct acute shape of right clasper, slightly larger than left, never longer than wide, and (3) the more rounded shape of left clasper (Figure 6F,G).Published as part of Barbosa, Julianna Freires, Ribeiro, José Ricardo Inacio & Nessimian, Jorge Luiz, 2012, A synopsis of Martarega White, 1879 (Insecta: Heteroptera: Notonectidae) occurring in the Brazilian Amazonia, with descriptions of three new species, pp. 1025-1057 in Journal of Natural History 46 (17 - 18) on page 1044, DOI: 10.1080/00222933.2011.651645, http://zenodo.org/record/519978

Anisepyris bogotensis Barbosa & Azevedo
bogotensis Barbosa & Azevedo, species-group nov. (Figs 10J–M, 11A–D) Females. Mandible with five distal teeth, and evenly developed; clypeus long; antennal scrobe ecarinate; frontal angle of ocellar triangle about right; ocelli large; vertex convex. Pronotum very short [as male], without transverse pronotal carina; parapsidal signum with anterior half not continuous; mesopleuron with the lower mesopleural fovea opened, mesopleural suture opened, and posterior mesopleural sulcus absent. Forewing with R1 indistinct. Mesotibia not spinose. Metatrochanter with lateral expansion. Posterior hypopygeal margin projected convex. Genitalia with 2vv as long as 1vv, and apex slender; sting (1vv+2vv) long [surpassing 3vv apex]; 1vf curved upward; 1rv not curved, with 1rv ventral process small, and posterior process short. Males. Unknown Distribution. It is restricted to Neotropical region Remarks: The characteristic “pronotal disc shorter than wide”, when its length is less than half of its width, is a common characteristic for males of Anisepyris. We observed, however, that this trait is rare in females. Therefore, we allocated females with a short pronotal disc to a new species-group under the name bogotensis. This speciesgroup is composed of five species (Table 1).Published as part of Barbosa, Diego N. & Azevedo, Celso O., 2018, Revision of Anisepyris Kieffer (Hymenoptera, Bethylidae), with description of 135 new species, pp. 1-258 in Zootaxa 4416 (1) on page 70, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4416.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/124226
