IMPROVING THE SECURITY OF A DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING ENCRYPTED TECHNOLOGY
Abstract: This work presents improving security of data communication system using advanced management of encryption software scheme. The work characterized a case study network designed with data encryption technique and then improved the network using an advanced data encryption technique. The encryption technique was developed using optimized blow fish algorithm which has the ability to segment keys and input packet matrix before simultaneous encryption. This process improves security, processing speed and time. The technique was implemented on Mathlab Simulink platform and tested. The result showed that the data encryption time of the new algorithm was 79.8ms against 113.05ms of the characterized system. The decryption key was improved from 8bit to 32bit in the new algorithm making the decryption process more complex for hackers, but improved data security in the system.

The Holy Spirit and Power in Luke-Acts and their Significance for Christian Service
Most scholars accept the Gospel of Luke and Acts of the Apostles as a single volume and Luke is generally believed to be the author. Luke’s interest in the Holy Spirit is remarkable. This paper undertakes the exegesis of the texts on the Holy Spirit and Power in Luke-Acts. It is most likely Luke made a kind of distinction between Holy Spirit and power in some texts of Luke-Acts. Both, it seems are separable and are of God for the empowerment of His people for service. There is therefore the need for the re- reading of those texts. However, the paper does not lose sight of the significance of the Holy Spirit and power for empowerment for service.

Has Japan been left out in the cold by regional integration?
Despite the ongoing worldwide trend toward regional integration, Japan has remained outside of all regional trading agreements. Because more than 60 percent of Japan’s trade is with countries that are members of a major regional bloc, this reluctance may have had significant effects on its pattern and volume of trade. Indeed, the author finds that Japan’s exports have been reduced by the integration of its trading partners, and that this effect has been fairly uniform across integration regimes. The author also finds that regional trading agreements have tended to have a much more negative effect on Japanese trade than on the trade of other nonmembers.Japan ; Free trade ; International trade
Trend analysis of age-specific adolescent pregnancy among antenatal care registrants, Savannah Region, Ghana 2018 to 2022
Introduction: Adolescent pregnancy prevalence is a key determinant of health and socio-economic growth, affecting maternal and perinatal outcomes. In Ghana, it is roughly three times higher than in developed countries. Understanding age-specific dynamics is essential for meeting the sustainable development goal (SDG) for reproductive health targets. This study aimed to assess the period prevalence of adolescent pregnancies in the Savannah region, identify the district with the highest prevalence, determine the age-specific adolescent birth rate, and analyze trends in reducing birth rate for both early and late adolescent pregnancies.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional analysis of a single data set over five years (2018 – 2022) in the Savannah Region. Records of adolescent mothers on ante-natal visits at registration from the District Health Information Management System 2 DHIMS2 were utilized. Age-specific bivariate analysis was conducted at a 95% confidence interval using Microsoft Excel 2018. We analysed the data by year and determined the period prevalence, age-specific adolescent birth rate (ASABR), and rate of change in prevalence. Microsoft Excel spreadsheet was used in analyzing the data. We presented results graphically with a forest plot, simple line and bar graphs, and a map using QGIS.
Results: The period prevalence of adolescent pregnancy in the Savannah Region was 117.50 childbirths per 1000 women (95% CI: of 102.17 -– 131.92). Prevalence among late adolescents was 230 childbirths per 1000 (95% CI: of 165. I3- 296.01) with a rate of change of +0.8 childbirths per 1000 women per year. Early adolescent pregnancy prevalence was 6.57 (95% CI: 3.46 -– 9.68) with a rate of change of +0.4 child births per 1000 women per year. The prevalence in the Bole District was 230 births per 1000 (95% CI; 165-296).
Conclusion: Adolescent pregnancy prevalence in the Savannah Region exceeds global estimates for Sub-Saharan Africa, with early adolescent pregnancies showing the least reduction over the five years despite interventions implemented. Bole District had the highest prevalence in the region. Targeted interventions and policies are needed to strengthen sexual and reproductive health, particularly in high-burden areas with slower reductions
The United States Congress established the U.S. Border Patrol on May 28, 1924 and mandated the new police force to enforce the nation's immigration restrictions by preventing unsanctioned border crossings. By dedicating the violence of immigration law enforcement to the policing of Mexicanos instead of to the patrolling of the borderline, Border Patrol officers defined a uniquely Mexicano axis of racial marginalization within the black/white divides of social order in the United States.Askins, Charles. 1991. Awareness of the effects of small-scale cassava mill effluent on the environment in Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria.
The threat of environmental pollution in Nigeria, particularly in the Niger Delta region, cannot be solely ascribed to oil spillages; rather, it also encompasses the discharge of cassava mill effluent (CME), frequently disposed off in an unregulated manner. Existing studies on CME have focused on its potential environmental consequences on soil characteristics, microbial populations, and heavy metal levels. There is limited study on the awareness of the impact of CME on the environment. Thus, this study contributes to the literature on CME by examining the awareness of its effect on the environment in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. The study used interviews, observation, and questionnaires administered to 399 respondents for data collection. A Student t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation were employed to analyse the data in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. Results revealed limited awareness, with 51.3% unaware of CME's environmental impact. Slight, moderate, and extreme awareness were reported by 7.5%, 17.3%, and 23.8%, respectively. Gender's influence on awareness was insignificant, but age showed a significant influence (p < 0.05), while education, occupation, and income correlated positively with awareness (p < 0.001). The source of information significantly predicted awareness (r = -0.727, p < 0.001). It indicates that gender's influence on awareness might depend on education levels. Socio-economic factors are strongly related to awareness. Reliable information sources are vital for understanding CME's environmental impact. The study underscores the need for enhanced environmental education and reliable information dissemination to promote sustainable practices. [Abstract copyright: © 2023.
