Biodegradable Polymer Use in Drug Delivery Systems: A Comprehensive Review
Biodegradable polymers have revolutionized the field of drug delivery systems, offering a promising solution to the limitations of traditional drug administration techniques. These polymers can be designed to degrade at specific rates, releasing therapeutics in a controlled and sustained manner, thereby improving bioavailability and reducing side effects. This review provides an overview of biodegradable polymers, including natural polymers like collagen, albumin, and gelatin, as well as synthetic polymers like polyesters, polyorthoesters, and polyphosphoesters. Here discuss the types of biodegradable polymers, their mechanisms, and benefits in drug delivery systems, including controlled release, targeted release, transdermal delivery, gene delivery, and tissue engineering. The review also highlights the future prospects and trends in biodegradable polymers, including the development of new polymers, blends, and nanoparticles.

A Holistic Review of Thrombosis Covering Diagnosis, Conventional Treatment, Nutraceutical Prevention and Advanced Drug Delivery
Thrombosis, or the formation of blood clots within blood vessels, is a serious medical condition that can lead to life-threatening complications. It is a complex process involving interactions between hemostatic, hemodynamic, and surface parameters. The risk factors for thrombosis include cancer, surgery, trauma, and genetic conditions. According to research, cancer patients are at a higher risk of developing thrombosis, with venous thromboembolism being the second most common cause of death in these patients. Understanding the causes, diagnosis, and treatment options for thrombosis is crucial for preventing and managing this condition. This review aims to provide an overview of the current knowledge on thrombosis, including its pathophysiology, risk factors, diagnostic tools, and treatment.

Potential of medicinal plants in management of diabetes: An updates
Phytochemical means plant derived chemicals they are defined as bioactive nutrient present in plant in fruits, vegetables, grains, and other part of plants that may provide advantageous health benefits across basic nourishment. Medicinal plants are used in the treatment of various illness due to the presence of therapeutically important phytochemicals. Sometimes in patients with diabetes mellitus, the levels of antioxidant parameters are found to decrease, hence in many studies phytochemicals are suggested to improve the insulin sensitivity. Some phytocompounds such as flavonoids, prophenyl phenols, are also found effective in the complications of diabetes. The major challenging issue in diabetes management is the obstruction of various complications that remain the main cause of diabetes-related mortality. Concurrent analysis of ambroxol HCl and salbutamol sulphate from tablet formulation by RP-HPLC
RP-HPLC method was developed for concurrent analysis of ambroxol HCl and salbutamol sulphate from tablet formulation. Analytes were separated with mobile phase consisting of mixture of methanol and water (0.1% triethylamine) in the ratio 50: 50 at a flow rate of 0.7 ml/min with Nucleosil (4.6 mm I.D x 250 mm) C18 column. The retention time of ambroxol HCl and salbutamol sulphate was found to be 3.61 and 6.20 min, respectively. The detection was carried out at 224 nm. The dynamic range for ambroxol HCl and salbutamol sulphate observed was 15-75 µg/ml and 1-5 µg/ml, respectively. The percent recovery obtained for ambroxol HCl and salbutamol sulphate were close to 100%. Obtained statistical data of results was found to satisfactorily
Iron Deficiency Anemia: Etiology, Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, and Treatment Approaches
Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common health problem that affects about 1.24 billion people around the world, mostly children and women of childbearing age. IDA happens when the body doesn\u27t get enough iron, loses too much iron, or can\u27t absorb it properly. This makes erythropoiesis, cellular metabolism, and immune function worse. The World Health Organization says that 40% of women who are pregnant and 32.5% of women who are not pregnant have anemia. People with IDA often feel tired, weak, pale, and have trouble thinking clearly. Lab tests, such as hemoglobin, blood ferritin, and transferrin saturation, are used to make the diagnosis. You can treat the condition in two ways: by taking iron supplements by mouth, such as ferrous sulfate, ferrous gluconate, and ferrous fumarate; or, for serious cases, by giving iron through an IV. Strategies for prevention depend on increasing the amount of iron you get from food, making it more bioavailable, and keeping infections under control. Food addition and fortification programs have been shown to help lower the number of people with IDA. However, problems still exist, especially in areas with poor economies. Recent advance in acknowledging how iron is used and controlled has implications for creating targeted therapeutic approaches. A key regulator of iron balance, hepcidin, is a key player in the pathophysiology of IDA. This review shows how complicated IDA is and how important it is to have treatment plans that consider underlying causes, dietary factors, and socioeconomic factors.

Ocuserts: A novel ocular drug delivery system
Ocular drug delivery poses significant challenges due to the unique anatomy and physiology of the eye. Conventional dosage forms, such as eye drops, often suffer from poor bioavailability, short residence time, and frequent dosing. To overcome these limitations, ocular inserts have emerged as a promising solution. These inserts provide sustained and controlled drug release, increasing the contact time with the ocular surface and enhancing bioavailability. This review discusses the advantages and disadvantages of ocular inserts, their classification, mechanism of drug release, formulation methods, and evaluation parameters. Ocular inserts offer several benefits, including improved patient compliance, reduced dosing frequency, and increased therapeutic efficacy.
