Philosophical Ethics and Education in Relation to the Internet of Things
Whether we want it or not Internet of Things (IoT) appears with growingnumber of devices in our everyday lives. The entertainment and benefits ofsuch gadgets and systems are however unfortunately often accompanied byrisks and ethical issues of the use of IoT. Barbora Umiastauskaitė-Žagarietė is the venerable of the region of Žiemgala

The Christian culture of this region unites the Catholics and Protestants (evangelist Lutherans and evangelist reformers). Barbora Umiastauskaitė called by people Žagarietė or the Saint of Žagarė has been cloaked in a veil of secrecy. It is thought that the main proof of her holiness is miracles that the people experienced when they appealed for help. There were registered more than 400 of them. The stories of thankful people who experienced unearthly help are signed by them. They are officially registered by a group of people and given in the article “Having found a book of miracles of Barbora Žagarietė”. Town halls in Prachatice
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of both town halls in Prachatice. At first The Old Town Hall is introduced. The author is concentrating on circumstances about the town hall formation and especially on its front facade decoration. Appropriate attention is also placed on the known and newly discovered graphical patterns, according to which the motives on The Old Town Hall were created. A chapter regarding the possible author of the building is also included. Barbora Staňková is subsequently concentrating on The New Town Hall, she is giving us a description of this edifice and she is explaining duplication of both town halls. The thesis is ended with comparison of both buildings
History and present of primary school in Karlštejn
This thesis explores the historical development of the elementary school in Karlštejn. It is historical in nature and divided into two parts. The goal of the theoretical part is to map the history of the primary school in Karlštejn. To facilitate an understanding of the connections between various pieces of information, the work also presents the history of the Karlštejn community, the region, and the legislative development of education in our territory. Given that the school in Karlštejn has been, and remains, a school with a small number of classes, the author considered it essential to include the history of small-class schools and their characteristics. Moreover, the theoretical part examines more closely the criteria selected by the author based on their frequency and the quality of records in chronicles. The author gathered all information from school and municipal chronicles that have been preserved and are stored in the State District Archive in Beroun, as well as from literature that has been published on these topics. The theoretical part supports the practical part, which is conducted as qualitative research based on the method of oral history. This includes interviews with former students, whose memories and subjective views help to paint a complete picture of the school's history. The..
The ethics of choosing not to use the Internet : A comparative case study of the education and healthcare sectors in Slovakia and Sweden
In this chapter, we discuss the ethics of choosing not to use the Internet, despite both having full access and being fully competent to do so. Our investigation consists of a comparative case study of the current situations in Slovakia and Sweden, two European Union (EU) countries that inhabit opposite ends on a European spectrum of societal digitalisation. We begin by grounding our discussion in the weight that the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ascribe to education and healthcare, as a means of establishing the inherent ethical value of universal access to these two sectors. Next, we elucidate three ethical arguments that all support the general choice to not use the Internet. Then, we provide a brief overview of the state of digitalisation in Slovak and Swedish education and healthcare, respectively, before applying the three arguments to these specific, real-world cases. A Business Plan for a Children's Fun Centre
Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit podnikatelský záměr pro dětské zábavní centrum ve Zlíně, díky kterému bude možné zjistit, zda je projekt realizovatelný. Obsahem teoretické části je vysvětlení pojmu podnikatelský záměr a jeho jednotlivých částí. V praktické části se autorka zabývá zhotovením podnikatelského záměru na vlastní téma a také aplikování marketingového mixu k již zmiňovanému projektu. K vytvoření podnikatelského záměru autorka použila kvantitativní metodu výzkumu v podobě dotazníku, díky kterému zjistila, zda by po podniku tohoto typu byla poptávka a jaké by bylo jeho využití na trhu.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a business plan for a children's fun centre in Zlín, thanks to which will be possible to find out if the project is viable. The content of a theoretical part is explaining the term business plan and its components. In a practical part, the author deals with establishing of the business plan on the own topic as well as an application of a marketing mix for an already mentioned project. For creating a business plan, the author applied the quantitative method of research in the form of a questionnaire, thanks to which she found out if there could be a demand for this type of a business and how exploitation could be in the market.Ústav moderních jazyků a literatu

History and present of primary school in Karlštejn
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá historickým vývojem základní školy v Karlštejně. Práce je historického charakteru a je rozdělena do dvou částí. Cílem teoretické části je zmapování historie primární školy v Karlštejně. Pro chápání souvislostí mezi různými informacemi je v práci uvedena také historie obce Karlštejna, regionu a legislativní vývoj školství na našem území. Jelikož škola v Karlštejně byla, a doposud je, školou málotřídní, považovala autorka za nezbytné uvést v práci současně historii málotřídních škol a jejich specifika. Dále se pak teoretická část věnuje bližšímu zkoumání kritérií, které autorka vybrala na základě jejich četnosti a kvality záznamů v kronikách. Veškeré informace autorka čerpala ze školních a obecních kronik, které byly dochovány a jsou uloženy ve Státním okresním archivu v Berouně, a současně z literatury, jež byla k daným tématům vydána. O teoretickou část se pak opírá část praktická, jež je vedena formou kvalitativního výzkumu a vychází z metody orální historie. Součástí praktické části jsou rozhovory s bývalými žáky, jejichž vzpomínky a subjektivní názory pomohou dokreslit celou historii školy. Záměrně je výběr respondentů rozdělen do různých generací.
