    An oral history was conducted with Dzung T. Bach, a Vietnamese teacher at La Quinta High School in the city of Westminster. The interview focused on his life after the war, his experiences as a prisoner of war and in the reeducation camps, as well as his transition to America through the Orderly Departure Program, and the traditions he hopes to pass on to his two daughters. He was excited to do the interview in hopes that his story will be heard and remembered, especially by his daughters.Recorded Digitall

    Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in analitičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali in predstavili teoretične osnove zbirnih prevozov, njihovo organiziranje in izvajanje ter vse potrebne logistične procese. V analitičnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati ankete, ki je bila opravljena med prevoznimi podjetji v Sloveniji. Glede na dobljene podatke je bil možen oris trenutnega realnega stanja zbirnih prevozov v Sloveniji. Raziskava je pokazala, da se veliko podjetij že poslužuje zbirnih prevozov in da njihova uporaba vse bolj narašča. V zadnjem delu smo podali še možne rešitve, ki bi izboljšale organiziranje in izvajanje zbirnih prevozov, pri čemer je poseben poudarek na povezovanju z ostalimi podjetji in uporabi informacijske tehnologije.The diploma consists of theoretical and analytical part. Theoretical part deals with the basics in regard to the logistics, freight and transport. Defined and explained are all the processes, characteristics and organizational aspects of groupage transports. Analytical part contains the results of the survey carried out among cargo companies in Slovenia. Gained data has enabled us to get an up-to-date insight into the current state of groupage transport in Slovenia. The research has showed that a lot of companies are already using groupage transport in that the number is growing. The final part gives possible solutions to improve organisation and execution of groupage transports mainly through networking and the use of ICT tools
