No full textL’insegnamento di lingua e letteratura slovena in due atenei diversi, l’uno situato in un contesto plurilingue e l’altro no, comporta difficoltà e strategie didattiche in parte simili in parte diversificate. Gli strumenti a disposizione non sempre sono del tutto adeguati, e comunque vanno adattati alle esigenze degli uditori che ci si trova concretamente di fronte, alle loro conoscenze e interessi. Gli studenti udinesi hanno una conoscenza più diretta della cultura slovena e più facilmente possono essere creati per loro quei riferimenti concreti che rendono la materia trattata più viva e interessante. Con gli altri si possono mettere in atto strategie differenti. I giovani di entrambi gli atenei manifestano comunque generalmente un notevole interesse per il contesto culturale sloveno, anche quando il loro indirizzo di studio non sia specificamente letterario.
The teaching of Slovenian language and literature in two different universities, one located in a multilingual context and the other not, entails educational difficulties and strategies in part similar in part diversified. The tools available are not always entirely appropriate, and should in any case be adapted to the needs, the knowledge and the interests of the listeners one is addressing at that moment. Students in Udine have more direct knowledge of Slovenian culture; for them it is easier to create those concrete references that make the subject matter more lively and more interesting. With the others different strategies can be implemented. Generally, however, the students at both universities show significant interest in the overall context of Slovenian culture, even when their specialisation is not specifically literary

No full textThe aim of this book is to provide at least a brief introduction to the rich heritage afforded by Slovenian folk narrative, a heritage which is little known and hitherto almost inaccessible to Italian readers. The introductory section provides a rapid overview of certain questions – both general and specifically Slovenian - which underlie the study of fairy tales and legends, a vast field which has attracted the attention of countless scholars over the centuries. Here, clarification has been sought of the principal themes and narrative structures to be found in the works under consideration, while at the same time seeking to identify their origins and to place them in a broader, European and universal cultural context.
There follows a selection of fifty short folktales, classified into legends and ballads: aetiological tales, stories featuring fantastic creatures, tales of animals and finally fairy tales in the strict sense of the word. Among the archetypal characters to be found are King Matthias, whose benevolent reign ensured a “Golden Age” for his subjects, the enchantingly beautiful Vida – the incarnation of the topos of nostalgia, the men-dogs of Hun legend. There are the fantastic creatures which evoke the picturesque Slovenian countryside: the dwarves to be found in mines, water genies, the vile which recall fairies and also wood nymphs. And yet more: the vampire-like védomtsi, the White Queens, the rojenice – goddesses of destiny and, of course, witches.
Questa raccolta presenta una selezione di fiabe e leggende di un paese, la Slovenia, il cui folclore è pressoché sconosciuto alla stragrande maggioranza del pubblico italiano.
Nell’introduzione viene fornito, dopo una concisa premessa teorica, un breve quadro storico d’insieme della produzione di prosa popolare slovena, e vengono inoltre illustrati i criteri in base ai quali è stato suddiviso il materiale esposto nelle pagine seguenti. No full textIl Profilo della letteratura slovena dal 1989 a oggi si rivolge a studenti e docenti, ma anche a chiunque desideri iniziare a conoscere una letteratura dell’Europa centrale o si interessi alla letteratura in generale.
È pensato infatti sia come primo approccio per chi sappia poco o nulla della letteratura slovena degli ultimi vent’anni sia come un primo tentativo di sistematizzazione, in italiano, di dati bio-bibliografici di autori sloveni del nostro tempo, perlopiù tuttora viventi e operanti. Nella parte introduttiva vengono presentate alcune linee generali entro cui si muove la letteratura slovena dei nostri giorni, mentre la seconda, oltre a una presentazione generale dell’opera di ogni singolo scrittore, contiene ottanta brevi schede bio-bibliografiche di altrettanti autori selezionati, compresa l’indicazione delle principali traduzioni italiane, quando presenti. La bibliografia riportata, un centinaio titoli, potrà costituire il punto di partenza per eventuali approfondimenti
