    Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a major problem in people with diabetes because more than 15% of patients have to treat DFU during their lifetime. 1 out of people with diabetes can experience a diabetic foot ulcer (DFU). At least a quarter of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) sufferers cannot recover completely. The prevalence of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) in Indonesia reaches 8.7%. The current DFU treatment approved by the FDA uses Becaplermin, a recombinant platelet-derived growth factor derivative. However, this treatment has a weakness in systemic bioavailability. FAgene expression analysis method is needed. to develop other therapies. This article aims to discover specific genes that play a role in diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) wound healing. In this systematic review, we searched the GEO Data Sets database to identify articles published from 2018 to 2023. The search results for DFU gene expression data for all species obtained 130 articles. Then, the DFU gene expression data series of Homo sapiens species was filtered to obtain ten related articles. This research has implications in providing better insight into the specific genes involved in the healing process of DFU wounds. This research also has the potential to contribute to early diagnosis of DFU injuries and better treatment

    Plantago major L. is a ubiquitous herbaceous plant with many medicinal activities which has been extensively used in Indonesian traditional medicine. This plant grows at wide range of environment, has several subspecies and varieties, but could not be distinguished morphologically. It is important to develop an effective method for identification and quality assurance of P. major, thus the final product has reproducible quality. In this research, a chromatographic fingerprint method was developed for exploring and establishing the variation of chemical substances among different samples of P. major collected from 15 areas in Indonesia. The LC (liquid chromatography) data showed considerable variation of chemicals among P. major samples. Three chemo-types were visually developed from the LC profiles. The hierarchical clustering analysis also concluded that the samples were divided into three major clusters. Furthermore, the bio-active marker aucubin in this herb was quantitatively determined by a validated LC analysis. Chemo-type II and III were identified as “compound 1”-rich and aucubin-relatively rich chemo-types. These conclusions provide an important basis to establish good agriculture practice and select geo-authentic crude drug for P. major in Indonesia.     he analytical methods used to analyze ginsenoside compounds include TLC, HPTLC, HPLC, UPLC, GC and MS. The HPLC method is the most widely used analytical technique with various combinations of UV detection or with ELSD. The HPLC method is a method of separating and purifying chemical compounds or medicinal compounds. To study new information from optimization for the separation of ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rg1 compounds, then validate the analytical method to show that the method provides accurate results in accordance with the requirements. The data and information used in this review article come from national and international journals. The data and information search method was carried out using the literature research method. keywords: "Optimization of Separation and Method Validation of Ginsenoside Compounds using the HPLC method" with a journal publication period 2019-2023. Of the 35 research articles found, only 9 journals met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Studies on ginsenoside compounds Re and Rg1 in ginseng plants are still not well separated. So it’s still necessary to optimize the analytical method using the HPLC method and then validate the analytical method to show that the method provides accurate results in accordance with the requirements

    Gene Expression Data Analysis In Response To Nicotine Exposure: A Literature Study Revealing Differentially Expressed Genes In Biological Pathways

    Nicotine is the main active chemical component in cigarette smoke that causes addiction. Prolonged exposure to nicotine has been confirmed to cause changes in gene expression related to metabolic functions and neural modifications in the brain. This study aims to analyze receptor targets resulting from nicotine exposure through Differentially Expressed Genes (DEG) analysis and to identify secondary metabolites in basil essential oil (Ocimum basilicum L.) using GC-MS, as well as to predict potential activity against specific receptors and target therapeutic compounds in silico (molecular docking and molecular dynamics). DEG analysis identified the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChRs) subtype α4-β2 with PDB code 6PV7 as the receptor target. GC-MS compound identification revealed 31 secondary metabolites in basil essential oil. ADMET and molecular docking analyses identified beta-bisabolene as the target therapeutic compound. The predicted potential activity of beta-bisabolene against the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChRs) subtype α4-β2 showed a compact structure and better stability than the drug. These findings support the potential of basil essential oil as an alternative therapy to mitigate the negative effects of nicotine exposure. The research shown that small round edible mushrooms contain of 16 amino acid i.e. Aspartat 1,56%, Threonin 0,75%, Senn 0,68%, Glutamin 2,41%, Glysin 0,75%, Alanin 0,80%, Cystin 0,63%, Valin 0,90%, Isoleusin 1,19%, Leusin 1,10%, Thyrosin 0,15%, Phenilalanin 0,48%, Lysin 0,53%, Histidin 0,15%, Arginin 0,64% and Prolin 0,76%. Moreover, small round edible mushrooms also contain of Ca 0,05%, Cu ),004%, Fe 0,008%, K 5,64%, Mg 0,125%, Na 0,045%, P 0,002%, Pb 0,004% and Zn 0,011%, and they are positively absorb DPPH free radical.     Telah dilakukan uji aktifitas peredaman radikal bebas DPPH (/ , I Diphenil - 2 - Picryl Hydrazyl) dari ekstrak Etanol wortel Iokal, wortel import, suplement antioksidan merck "TS" dan merck "Scv" secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Uji aktifitas peredaman radikal bebas DPPH secara kualitatif ditunjukkan dengan memudarnya warna ungu dari Iarutan DPPH. Dari pengamatan secara kualitatif didapatkan aktititas meredam radikal bebas DPPH dari wortel import relatif lebih besar daripada wortel Iokal dan suplement antioksidan merck "Scv" relatif Iebih besar daripada suplement merk "TS". Untuk analisis kuantitatif dihitung harga Ec50 secara spektrofotometri sinar tampak pada A. 515,0 nm.Harga Ec50 wortel lokal 57.0550 mg , Ec50 wortel Impor 21.4546 mg, sedangkan Suplemen Scv Harga Ec50= 2.3794 mg dan Suplemen TS Harga Ec50= 4.5873 mg.     Essential Oils And Mindfulness Exercises In Influencing Gene Expression Involved In Mild Cognitive Impairment (Mci): A Systematic Review

    Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) represents a transitional stage between normal cognitive function and dementia, affecting memory and other cognitive abilities. This systematic review explores the impact of essential oils and mindfulness exercises on gene expression involved in MCI. Despite the prevalence of pharmacological treatments, they offer limited prevention of MCI progression to dementia. Non-pharmacological interventions, such as mindfulness exercises, have demonstrated cognitive benefits, albeit with moderate efficacy. Essential oils, used in aromatherapy, show promise in supporting cognitive improvement through their impact on amyloid-beta and cholinesterase pathways. This review synthesizes findings from multiple studies between 2017 and 2024, highlighting that combining essential oils and mindfulness exercises may offer enhanced therapeutic outcomes for individuals with MCI. Further research is needed to establish the efficacy of this integrative approach, which could slow the progression of MCI and improve patients' quality of life

    Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit yang ditandai oleh pembelahan sel payudara yang tidak terkendali, karena mutasi atau perubahan abnormal. Doxorubicin adalah agen kemoterapi standart untuk kanker payudara, namun memiliki efek samping dan dapat menyebabkan resistensi obat. Pemanfaatan bahan alam Indonesia dapat digunakan sebagai sarana pengobatan alternatif/komplementer, dengan keunggulan efek samping relatif kecil dibanding bahan kimia sintetis. Centella asiatica adalah salah satu tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengobatan tradisional antikanker. Dalam pengembangan dan oenemuan obat baru membutuhkan biaya yang besar, waktu yang lama serta tenaga yang banyak karena perlu dilakukan uji coba dan sintesis pada sebagian besar prosesnya tanpa ada desain atau alasan yang jelas, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas sitotoksik metabolit sekunder Centella asiatica, secara in silico. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah prediksi sifat fisikokimia druglikeness, ADME-Tox, serta molecular docking metabolit sekunder dan obat pembanding Doxorubicin terhadap target reseptor SIRT1 (kode PBD: 4I5I.pdb) mengguankan program Autodock Vina. Dengan hasil energi ikatan yang lebih baik daripada obat pembanding Doxorubicin (-9,46kkal/mol), yaitu 3-O-cis-Caffeoylquercetin (-10.34kkal/mol), Quercetin (-10.28kkal/mol), dan 3-O-cis-Coumaroyl-kaempfrol (-10.19kkal/mol). Maka metabolit sekunder Centella asiatica terbaik secara in sillico, yang dapat digunakan sebagai calon antikanker payudara adalah 3-O-cis-Caffeoylquercetin
