Towards effective regional security architecture for the Asia Pacific
Full text linkThe proliferation of multilateral security processes and institutions in the Asia Pacific in the wake of the Cold War is a testament to the region\u27s constructive and collegial spirit toward addressing security challenges. The formation of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in 1994 paved the way for the region to approach security in a cooperative and inclusive manner. Although the ARF offered a novel departure from competitive security structures, and was followed by processes such as the East Asia Summit (EAS) and the ASEAN Defence Ministerial Meeting Plus (ADMM Plus), the US-led \u27hub and spokes\u27 system continues to be viewed by some states in the region as a stabilizing force.
In light of the scale and complexity of security challenges confronting the region, CSCAP considered it timely to review the regional security architecture and offer recommendations to strengthen and improve on the existing regional security arrangements and processes.
This memorandum was produced by the CSCAP Study Group on Regional Security Architecture and was approved by the 41st CSCAP Steering Committee Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 5 June 2014

This is why, some of them, have risked incurring in this market so desired worldwide not only because of its attractive features, but at the same time they make it a mysterious and unknown destination for many. For the aforementioned, the companies of the agricultural and food sector that have already ventured in this region are worthy of a detailed study and analysis, to serve as an example of experience for Colombian companies interested in venturing into the striking region of Asia Pacific .La región de Asia Pacífico se ha venido consolidando como un importante socio comercial para Colombia y, recientemente, industrias como la de alimentos y agrícola se han percatado de las importantes oportunidades de mercado que esta región ofrece. Es por esto que, algunas de ellas, se han arriesgado a incurrir en este mercado tan apetecido a nivel mundial no sólo por las características tan atractivas que posee, sino que, al mismo tiempo lo hacen un destino misterioso y desconocido para muchos. Por lo mencionado anteriormente, las empresas del sector agropecuario y alimentos que ya se han aventurado en esta región son merecedoras de un estudio y análisis detallado, para que sirvan como ejemplo de experiencia para las empresas colombianas interesadas en incursionar en la llamativa región de Asia pacifico
