Arun NGL Co. merupakan perusahaan Negara yang bergerak dibidang kilang gas dan minyak bumi, oleh karena itu perlu diteliti keberadaannya dalam mengelola Corporate Sosial Responsibility (CSR). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat dan menganalisis penerapan CSR alam perspektif Ekonomi Politik di desa binaan sekitar lokasi PT. Arun. Penelitian menggunakan cara kualitatif analisis dengan data primer yang diambil dari laporan, bulletin dan lain-lain yang ada kaitannya dengan penerapan CSR di PT. Arun NGL Berdasarkan data yang ada, penerapan CSR di perusahaan ini sudah sesuai dengan prinsip dan tata
kelolla CSR yang ditetapkan undang-undang, CSR perusahaan ini hanya meliputi beberapa program yaitu: dibidang SDM, Ekonomi, Pengembangan sumber daya lokal, keagamaan, kesehatan dan pendidikan. Namun dalam perspektif ekonomi politik ini belum kelihatan secara signifikan, pada hal politik mempunyai peranan yang amat penting dalam menjaga pembangunan industri yang berkelanjutan (sustainability
development).

No full textArun and Sunanda Gandhi are pictured at the M. K. Gandhi Institute for the Study of Nonviolence with Leon Griffith from FOX 13.
In the early 1990s, Memphis State University declined Arun Gandhi’s proposal to start a nonviolence center; however, the Christian Brothers University president, Brother Theodore Drahmann, was interested in listening to the proposal. The M. K. Gandhi Institute for the Study of Nonviolence was created as a research and educational resource center based on the nonviolence principles of Mohandas Gandhi, Arun Gandhi’s grandfather. The Institute was founded and staffed by Arun Gandhi and his wife, Sunanda Gandhi, the Institute was in their home owned by CBU, and the classroom space and seminar facilities were at CBU. The Institute also housed a collection of Mohandas Gandhi’s writings, which were temporarily held at the Plough Library. Arun Gandhi frequently spoke at CBU about nonviolence, a message he would also share with the wider community and internationally. After the passing of his wife in 2007, the Arun Gandhi moved to be closer to his daughter, moving the Institute as well.
Before founding the Institute, Arun Gandhi was a journalist in India and Sunanda Gandhi was a nurse helping abused women and abandoned children. The two of them were also involved in projects to assist India’s lowest caste and impoverished populations
