What remains of Croce today? The "Lessico crociano" presented here moves from this question. The editorial project began in 2013, when some of the most authoritative Italian and foreign scholars and a new generation of Croce's interpreters were invited by the editor to draw up a small essential conceptual "lexicon" of Croce's thought. And so the "voices" that can be read here have taken shape, ranging from art to politics, from logic to history, bearing witness to the variegated and complex intellectual physiognomy of the thinker who more and better than others has represented the spirit of Italian philosophy in the twentieth century, even beyond national borders.
Having overcome the ideological season that saw the "liquidators" and the "defenders" of Croce's thought lined up on two opposite sides, and having verified the inadequacy of a "monumental" and "antiquarian" historiography applied to the still living flesh of Croce's legacy of thought, the time is propitious to finally read Croce in a positively "barbaric" way, that is, as children of no school and with new eyes. And to verify, consequently, not the banal prophetic topicality or the irredeemable inactuality of the contents, but the beneficial vitality of a methodological framework and, in general, of an authentically cosmopolitan approach to the questions of the world.
For this reason, to the specialist as well as to the simple curious reader of Croce, a "breviary" is offered in synthesis: some propaedeutic and lay notes recovered from a still living past, so that they can serve the men of the present to "foresee" with thought the otherwise unrepresentable scenarios of action in the future.
The entry "Baroque" takes its cue from Croce's 1929 book "Storia dell'età barocca in Italia" (History of the Baroque Age in Italy) and discusses its genesis, its connections with other works and the overall judgment on what is defined as a relative "age of decadence". The author has already devoted to the Barock-Reinassance of the 1920s the article "Of some Croce's motifs in Benjamin" ("Bollettino filosofico", 2013), reading Croce's work with Benjamin's "Origin of Baroque Drama"
The Implementation of Giving Indirect Corrective Feedback to Improve Students’ Writing Ability of the Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 01 Purwosari
ABSTRACT Rosalia, Ariska. 2016. The Implementation of Giving Indirect Corrective Feedback to Improve Students’ Writing Ability of the Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 01 Purwosari. Undergraduate Thesis. English Department, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang. Advisors: (1) Prof. Ali Saukah, M.A., Ph.D. (II) Dr. Mirjam Anugerahwati, M.A.Key Words: writing ability, indirect corrective feedback, recount textThis study was intended to improve the students’ writing ability by implementing indirect corrective feedback in the process of writing to get the better writing product. This study was CAR (Classroom Action Research) which consists of four steps; planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting the action. The subjects were the tenth graders of language program of SMAN 01 Purwosari at the second semester of 2015/ 2016 academic year. There were 31 students in the class. This study only focused on indirect corrective feedback using error code on students’ writing works (coded error feedback). This study used five kinds of instruments to collect the data: observation sheets, field notes, questionnaires, interview guidelines, and the students’ writing compositions. The study was considered successful if 75% students obtain 75 or above and also 75% students show their positive opinions about the strategy. The research was conducted in one cycle which consisted of six meetings. There were two observers: the English teacher and one English department student of State University of Malang. In this study, indirect corrective feedback was not only from the researcher, but also from the students (peer feedback). The strategy was carried out in every meeting after every writing activity. The peer feedback was done twice at the end of writing process in the third and last meeting since the students were asked to write a recount text individually two times during the study. After the students did peer feedback, the researcher gave indirect feedback to the students’ drafts. After that, the students were asked to revise it as their writing products. The students’ writing composition was scored using a scoring rubric adapted from Brown (2007) and had been validated by the validator. The findings showed that the students’ scores at the end of the meeting improved well when it compared to their scores in the preliminary study. The mean of final score showed improvement and the mean of each aspect in writing also indicated good improvement. The biggest improvement was in the language features, which became one of the main focuses. The mean after the implementation was 88.6, whereas the mean in the preliminary study was 80. All students passed the passing grade. Moreover, 87% students showed positive opinions towards the strategy based on the result of the questionnaires. Based on the findings, English teachers are supposed to implement corrective feedback in which the students get involve actively in the activities such as peer feedback and revision. Feedback will work well only if the students take a part in the activity. Further researchers are expected to conduct the same research in longer meetings and for other text types. Moreover, it is better if there is inter rater. The subjects are also supposed to be in higher level such as English department students who are taking writing course. ABSTRAK Rosalia, Ariska. 2016. Penerapan Pemberian Indirect Corrective Feedback untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa Kelas X SMAN 01 Purwosari. Skripsi, Jurusan Sastra Inggris, Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing: (1) Prof. Ali Saukah, M.A., Ph.D. Dove vanno i laici. Note sull’etica di Paolo Bonetti
Il purgatorio dei laici, a book published by Paolo Bonetti in 2008, is an expression of the “restless laity” of its author. Composed of a series of meditations on the present stage of ethics, especially in its relations with the Catholic religion, that book appears to us today as a collection of “ethical fragments” from which we derive still useful reflections on the present stage of ethics in its relationships with bioethics and on the limits and paradoxes of a metaphysics and immutable "human nature". Reasonable claim to the authentic meaning of secularism and liberalism – keywords of Bonettian ethics –, this article was born from the attempt to trace a profile of the philosopher Bonetti before the challenges of contemporary world’s complexity
Annotazioni critiche su "Rosalia" di Enrico Pea (1945)
“Rosalia”, the last of the novels in Enrico Pea’s collection, edited by Pietro Pancrazi under the title “La figlioccia e altre donne” (1953), was published for the first time in 1945 in “Il Giornale d’Italia”. The article retraces the genesis of the novel, setting it against another text “Vita in Egitto”, both of which share the common motif of the initiatory journey. A brief analysis of “Vita in Egitto” will reveal the similarities with “Rosalia”, in particular the concept of novitiate, the terms of experience and fantasy, art and life, which characterize much of Enrico Pea’s literary production, as well as his particular interest in religious faith, family matters and memory. The article proceeds with an overview of the characters in “Rosalia” (the female protagonist, Dalle Piagge, the Greek woman, Tallarico, Van le Neppe, Haggi, Pea) offering a description of the narrative structure of the text, the main themes (for instance, the father-son relationship), the affinities with the text “Solaio” and the significance of the setting. Finally, provides an accurate illustration of the author’s use of fantasy, which calls to mind another of Pea’s works, (“Magoometto”) and the “fola” (or “tale”), with all the implications and complications deriving from its oral transmission, Pea’s status as guarantor-narrator-author, his skillful use of point of view, his recourse to a wide range of variations and the literary influences that lap the edges of the author’s work.“Rosalia”, l’ultimo dei romanzi della raccolta di Enrico Pea curata da Pietro Pancrazi con il titolo “La figlioccia e altre donne” (1953), viene pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1945 su “Il Giornale d’Italia”.

e l’importanza paleontologica e archeologica del sito;
scopi formativi e divulgativi. The Mesozoic carbonatic relieves surrounding the Palermo
Plain are characterized by notable morphologic
structures that belong to the cultural heritage of Sicily.
These shapes, that are relevant to the eustatic Pleistocene
oscillations and modeled by the sea, are represented
by terraces, seacliffs, wave-cut notches, old shores, cavities.
The Geosite Montagnola of Santa Rosalia is a carbonatic
isolated block, encircled by steep rock walls; it is recognizable
for the wide and marked sea terrace, delimited
by high and very sharp seacliffs in which various cavities
are developed.
After a geologic and morphologic setting, the Author emphasizes
the aspects of karst and the characteristics of
the paleontological and archeology patrimony. Moreover,
the Author illustrates the proposal for the establishment
of an Urban Cultural Park and interventions to protect the
area examined. The Park will certainly be very important
from different points of view: natural, landscape, speleological
and cultural. The closeness of the reserve to the
town of Palermo will also be an excellent tool to educate
people to respect nature
Rosalia de Castro and her work in relation to the society and culture of nineteenth-century Spain
The thesis studies Rosalia de Castro (l837-1885) and her work in relation to the society and culture of her times, the aim being to assess the extent to which the pre-dominant way of thinking in Spain shaped her work in both content and form. It was found that Rosalia 's work was primarily nonconformist, indicating a reaction to the ideas and values of the conservative establishment and an accord-ance with the current of radical liberalism which struggled unsuccessfully to impose itself throughout the nineteenth century. Following a historical perspective, the thesis is divided chronologically into three parts : pre-1854, 1854-1874, post-1874. Bach part deals with successively; con-temporary social and political developments; the author's biography; current literary conventions; the most significant of the author's texts. The first part studies the legacy of Romanticism in Spain and the effect of its ethos on Rosalia's first writings, La Flor and La hija del mar. Although Rosalia was already within the circle of influence of the Galician Provincialists at this stage, she was more concerned with the defence of women than Galician self-rule. The second part examines the years preceding and immediately following the Revolution of 1868 when the feasibility of the radical alternative reached its apogee, concurring with a revived interest in popular culture. During this period Rosalia, at her peak of social awareness, was integrated into the small but vociferous Galician nationalist cause. Using the techniques of the popular lyric she wrote Galician poetry which incorporated reformist demands and thus she initiated the Galician literary renaissance (Cantares gallegos and Follas Novas). Her "costumbrista" novel of social criticism, El caballero de las botas azules, reveals a preoccupation with wider social issues, including the role of women and Krausist ethics. The third part of the thesis assesses the extent to which the defeat of the radical alternative affected the literature of the Restoration and Rosalia's later poetry (Follas Novas, En las orillas del Sar). Profound demoralization, scepticism and existential questioning on a general scale are echoed in Rosalia's tragic consciousness of life, while the changing role of the author freed her from current conventions making for creative, individual experimentation with form. It is therefore both in an ethical and an aesthetic capacity that Rosalia's work is seen to link the insight and rebellion of the Romantics to that of the Modernists and Generation of 1898
Tuscolano I, II, III
The text illustrates the Tuscolano quarter in its three phases: the first, experimental, aimed to refine a design method that can be disseminated for the implementation of other districts across the country; the second, in which two of the great interpreters of architecture of the post-war period (Saverio Muratori and Mario De Renzi) experience typological solutions of great impact; the third, exceptional work by Adalberto Libera, also author of the "manual for the design of neighborhoods," distributed among the designers of the Plan to make coherent architectural solutions
This article approaches the book Tre Anni in Eritrea (1901) by Rosalia Pianavia Vivaldi Bossiner, first travel stories published by a woman in Italy, from the perspective of intersectionality, paying attention to the ways in which the author portrayed native otherness. Her work narrates her experiences and her appreciations of Eritrean space and society during her stay in Asmara between 1893 y 1896, while her husband, Colonel Domenico Pianavia-Vivaldi, was in service.
Even though both the author and her work have not been unattended by specific studies, those have not approached them through the lens of intersectionality, which we consider very useful in order to comprehend the shades that were characteristic of her position in the writing context. Thus, her aristocratic origin, her higher position in colonial hierarchy, her nationalism and eurocentrism, and her femininity intertwine through the chapters that recount her experiences in a context characterized by the presence of Italian military and settlers, and indigenous men and women.
