The Four Kings of the Forest: A Fable
Although named a fable by the author/illustrator, this 20-page story reaches beyond the usual limits of a fable. It tells the story of four kings -- lion, elephant, gorilla, and snake -- who learn from a boy and make him a fifth king. Ingres mold-made paper with color lineoleum block prints.
