تأثیر سطوح مختلف انرژی قابل سوخت و ساز و مکمل مس- متیونین در خوراک بر عملکرد مرغ¬های تخمگذار
No full textThis research aimed to investigate the effects of varying levels of metabolizable energy and copper-methionine supplementation in feed on the performance of laying hens. A total of 144 Nick Chick leghorn laying hens were utilized in a 3×3 factorial experiment within a completely randomized design (CRD). The study included 9 treatments, each with 4 replications and 4 hens per replication. Data obtained from the experiment were analyzed using SAS software version 9.1. The findings indicate that copper-methionine supplementation can be used to enhance chicken performance when high-energy feeds are employed in the management of laying hen flocks. Energy is the primary factor determining feed intake in birds and, in adult laying hens, serves as the key determinant of egg production levels. The results revealed that throughout the experimental period, the different levels of metabolizable energy and copper-methionine supplementation significantly influenced (P<0.05) feed consumption and the feed conversion ratio. However, their effects on other performance traits were not statistically significant (P>0.05). The experimental treatments significantly affected (P<0.05) egg volume and feed conversion ratio, while their impact on other yield traits remained non-significant (P>0.05).هدف از این تحقیق بررسی تأثیر سطوح مختلف انرژی قابل سوختوساز و مکمل مس-متیونین در خوراک بر عملکرد مرغهای تخمگذار است. در این پژوهش، 144 قطعه مرغ تخمگذار لگهورن نژاد نیکچیک در قالب آزمایش فاکتوریل 3×3 با طرح پایه CRD با 9 تیمار، 4 تکرار و 4 قطعه مرغ در هر تکرار استفاده شدند. دادههای بهدستآمده از این آزمایش با استفاده از نرمافزار SAS نسخه 9.1 تجزیهوتحلیل شدند. مکمل مس-متیونین میتواند بهعنوان ترکیبی مؤثر برای بهبود عملکرد مرغها هنگام استفاده از خوراکهای دارای مقادیر بالای انرژی در مدیریت گلههای مرغ تخمگذار به کار رود. انرژی یکی از عوامل اصلی تعیینکننده میزان خوراک مصرفی در پرندگان است و در مرغهای تخمگذار بالغ، انرژی عامل اصلی کنترل تولید تخممرغ محسوب میشود. نتایج نشان داد که در طول دوره آزمایش، تأثیر سطوح مختلف انرژی قابل سوختوساز و مکمل مس-متیونین در خوراک بر خوراک مصرفی و ضریب تبدیل غذایی معنیدار بود (05/0P<)، اما بر سایر صفات عملکردی تأثیری معنیدار نداشت (05/0P>). همچنین، تأثیر تیمارهای آزمایشی بر حجم تخممرغ و ضریب تبدیل غذایی معنیدار بود (05/0P<)؛ اما بر سایر صفات عملکردی تأثیر معنیداری مشاهده نشد (05/0(P>.هدف از این تحقیق نشاندادن اندازه های مختلف انرژی قابل سوخت و ساز و مکمل مس- متیونین در خوراک بر عملکرد مرغهای تخمگذار است. تعداد 144 قطعه مرغ تخمگذار لگهورن نژاد نیک چیک در چوکات ازمایش فکتوریل 3×3 با طرحه پایه CRD با 9 تریتمنت، 4 تکرار و 4 قطعه مرغ در هر تکرار مورد استفاده قرار گرفتند. ارقام حاصل شده از این ازمایش با استفاده از سافتویر SAS ورژن 1/9 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. مکمل مس- متیونین میتواند به عنوان ترکیبی برای بهبود عملکرد مرغ در هنگام استفاده از خوراکهای حاوی مقادیر بالای انرژی در مدیریت گلههای مرغ تخمگذار مورد استفاده قرار گيرد. انرژی فکتور اصلی تعیین کننده مقدار خوراک مصرفی در پرندگان و در مرغهای تخمگذار بالغ، انرژی فکتور اصلی کنترل کننده مقدار تولید تخم مرغ میباشد. نتایج نشان داد که در کل دوره ازمایش،اثراندازه های مختلف انرژی قابل سوخت و ساز و مکمل مس- متیونین در خوراک بر خوراک مصرفی و ضریب تبدیل غذایی، معنیدار (05/0P<) و بر سایر صفات عملکرد، غیرمعنیدار (05/0P>) بود. اثر تریتمنت های ازمایشی بر حجم تخم مرغ و ضریب تبدیل غذایی، معنیدار (05/0P<) و بر سایر صفات عملکرد، غیرمعنیدار (05/0P>) بود
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
