Geographical Analysis of Fragile Groups in Anbar Governorate
Aims: The current study aims to investigate the fragile population groups in Anbar Governorate. The study also aimed to analyze the factors influencing the spread of this phenomenon and determining the geographical distribution of fragility. It also seeks to provide development strategies to reduce this group and achieve economic and social stability. Methodology: the study adopted the analytical approach to study population data and an inductive approach to extract future trends. It also used a statistical approach to analyze the relationship between the level of fragility and demographic and economic factors, adopting Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to determine the spatial distribution of fragile groups. Results: After analyzing the data, the study showed that Anbar Governorate comprises 4.5% of Iraq's total population and fragile groups constitute 3.2% of the total fragile population. The highest rates of fragile were recorded in Fallujah and Ramadi districts, at 29% and 23%, respectively. This high ratio could be to high population density and economic and security challenges. In contrast, the lowest rates were recorded in Rawah and Rutba districts (1.5% and 2.5%). The fragile rate in Anbar reached 60 per 1,000 people, rising to 139 per 1,000 in Rawah district, while the lowest rate was in Haditha (38 per 1,000 people). Conclusion: It can be concluded that population fragile levels in Anbar vary according to economic and social factors and population distribution. The current study recommends that local government should pay more attention to develop economic and politic strategies to improve economic, increase employment opportunities, and enhance social services to achieve sustainable development and economic stability
The Sunni Endowment in Anbar, a "documentary study"
The aims of this research is to delve into the endowment system, a significant moral foundation that Muslims have undertaken to bear the weight of numerous scientific, educational, social, health, and relief services, the responsibility of which is formidable in the relevant departments and sectors today. The research is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the endowment and its significance in Islam, detailing its provisions, conditions, legitimacy, types, and impact on Muslims, both socially and scientifically. This section is dedicated to emphasizing and encouraging individuals with financial means to dedicate a portion of their wealth to various projects that serve people of all categories. Moving on to the second section, we explore the endowments in Anbar Governorate, examining their types and how they are managed by the Sunni Endowment Department in Anbar. We elaborate on the tasks of this department and substantiate its activities by shedding light on its personnel, units, and the work it undertakes. This includes the attention given to archaeological and religious sites and the education of people about the significance of this awareness in both the present and the hereafter. The research yields numerous results and recommendations that underscore the importance of endowments for Muslims, promoting social solidarity among them. It emphasizes the significance of endowments in Anbar and their maintenance by the Sunni Endowment Department. Additionally, it advocates for the creation of an annual archive and guide for the department, elucidating its work and activities
The role of the University of Anbar in the development of society and contemporary challenges (1987-2018)
Anbar University was founded in late December 1987, as part of the general trend towards expanding the circle of higher education and scientific research in Iraq, as well as the need of Anbar province for a university that achieves the country's vision in development and development. In establishing a distinct scientific, cultural and development vision, as well as the values influenced by the local community, as well as contributed to the success of the process of reaching the province to advanced administrative and cultural ranks, through its years of consultations and experiences, whether for its cadres independently, or in cooperation with other cadres and institutions The other province, from the public, private and mixed sectors, did not dissuade the university from exercising its role despite the events witnessed during its young age, represented by the economic victory in 1990, and then the American invasion of Iraq in 2003, through the control of armed groups during the Years (2006-2007) and (2014), this is what the research is trying to highlight with a systematic academic documentary study 
Analyzing the Hydro morphometric Features and their Geomorphological Dangers in Al-Rahhaliya Town \ Anbar Governorate
The present study tackled the geomorphological perils of Rahaliya town, which is located in the southeastern part of Ramadi district within Anbar Governorate. It occupies an area of (2863 km2). The natural, morphometric and hydrological features were studied, and the impact of these features in determining the strength and quality of geomorphological perils within the study area was shown. However, the study used modern technologies and special mathematical equations in calculating the values of the variables required in order to draw maps of the perils to which the study area is exposed, as the study included determining the dangers of morphometric, hydrological and net flow features. studied. The basins in which the degree of danger is (1), which is of less danger, included one basin that is (4) to occupy a percentage (20%) of the total basins, while the basins in which the degree of danger is (2), which is of medium danger, occupied a percentage of ( 40%) of the total basins, to include basins (2, 5), while the basins with a degree of dangernet (4) and which are very dangerous occupied (40%) of the total studied basins, represented by basins (1, 3)
PREVALENCE OF HARD TICKS Boophilas microplus . IN COWS IN SOME REGAONS OF AL-ANBAR GOVERNORATE
This study included survey for hard ticks Boophilas microplus . Infestations in cows at some areas in al-Anbar governorate by examining 2840 cows hide ,with different ages and from both sexes during the period December 2011 up to December 2012. Resalts revealed an optical in fastation 54.01% ,the in festation percent. In females was 62.54 % which was higher tham the in festation percent .In males which was 44.95 %. The rate of highest investation in age (month -<2) year was 71.59% and the lowest rate 21.68% was in cows at age of ( 8-<10) years with significant difference (p< 0.05) was conducted . The highest rate was 89,84.69% in May and June respectively and the lowest rate 16.66% in October with significant difference (p<0.05)
BIODEGRADATION OF CERTAIN PLASTICS USED IN COATING CABLES OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY &TELEPHONES IN THE SOILS OF ANBAR – GOVERNERATE.
This study was carried out to test the resistant of three different plastics towards biodegradation. Thes plastics are polyvinyl chloride( PVC) and low density polyethylene ( LDPE ) which are used currently in the insulation of cables, and the resin of polyester ( UPE ) Three different types of bacteria ( Staphylococcus , Pseudo aeraginosa Escheriohia coil )were planted on plastics in different soils of Anbar (Saqlawiyeh , ramadi , Qaeim ) . The biodegradation was followed via the decreace in the overall weight and the molecular weight due to the chains scision and the shift in the functional groups using ( FT– IR) and( I.R, UV), and the depression in the viscosities . Microscope was also use to follow the surface corrosion . The result obtaind indicate that the pvc give the highest resistant tawards biodegradation , and the resistant of the three plastics follow the sequencep;- ( PVC > UPE > PE) .The nature of the soil had also not played a role in the stability of the plastics useds in this research
Correlation Between Glucose – 6 – Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency Level and Some Haematological Parameters on Newborn Blood in Al-Anbar Governorate-Ramadi
This study aimed to determine the prevalence of Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency in Al-Anbar Governorate-Ramadi and to study the different relationships between these cases and different haematological parameters values. In addition to that this study aimed to investigate the degree of G6PD deficiency in both sever and moderate status and to find the ratio of this enzyme deficiency in both sexes .One hundred sixty six (166) samples from both sexes (80) males and (86) females(neonates) were collected. Results showed that the overall frequency among neonates of G6PD deficiency was 10.84% (13.75% males and 8.13% females.Significant difference in G6PD deficiency was found between both sexes, males showed more frequency than females (P 0.05)Also non significant differences (P> 0.05) were found between samples of normal individuals and those of G6PD deficiency regarding white blood cell count (WBC)
Demographic Transition in The Middle Age of The Population of the People in Al-Anbar Province (1997-2023)
Aims: The current study aimed to investigate the amount of demographic transformation in one of the age structure indicators, the median age of the population of Anbar Governorate between the period of 1997 and 2023. It also aimed to test the direction of change. Methodology: To follow the phenomenon of median age historically, the research adopted the historical approach. To analyze and interpret the phenomenon and its relationship to other demographic variables, the descriptive approach was also adopted. The study also adopted official data from the 1997 general population census from the Ministry of Planning. The research sample consisted of (2400) individuals (families), distributed as (1400) in urban areas and (1000) in rural areas. Results: The results showed that the demographic transition for the median age was evident during the research period between 1997 to 2023. The results indicated that the demographic transition increased by approximately six years, in both urban and rural areas alike. The results also indicated that this may be due to a decline in the birth rate, which resulted in a decrease in the relative representation of the age group (0-14) years, followed by an increase in the relative representation of the middle-aged group (15-64) years, the elderly group (65 years and older), and an increase in the life expectancy of the population. Conclusions: It can be concluded that there are number of factors have contributed to the change in age structure indicators, with the relative overrepresentation of the middle-aged (14-64) and elderly (65 years and older) categories, and the consequently decreased relative representation of the young (0-14) age group. These factors include: The decline in the birth rate and the increase in life expectancy. Additionally, the median age has declined, increasing by more than five years between 1997 and 2023.
Study of lipid profile for psoriatic patients in AL-Anbar governorate.
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition which affects approximately 1-3% of the world's population (1). It appears as red plaques covered with silvery scale that flakes away from the skin.Psoriatic plaques are often found on the elbows, scalp and knees but can also affect other parts of the body such as the face, feet and mucous membranes.Psoriasis is not contagious, nor is it caused by an allergy. However, the tendency to develop the condition can be genetically transmitted. Psoriasis causes itching in 60% to 70% of cases (2). However, the exact etiology of psoriasis is unknown. Abnormalities in lipid metabolism have been proposed because the abnormalities in lipids lead to abnormalities in skin formation which is made from lipids. To evaluate the serum lipids profile in psoriatic patients of Al-Anbar governorate and to compare the results with other external studies. The study group included 60 patients with psoriasis, and 30 healthy volunteers. Blood lipid profile was determined using commercial kits from reliable French and Spain companies. All patients had psoriasis involving less than 30% of body surface. Their ages ranged from 10 to 60 years with a mean of 32 years. Family history of psoriasis was positive in a percentage of (20%) of the patients. The mean levels of serum lipids (total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein, and very low density lipoprotein) in patients with psoriasis were found to be significantly higher than those of healthy individuals. The mean levels of high density lipoprotein were not significant. This study strengthens the relationship between the lipids intake, formation, and metabolism with the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Therefore it is concluded that psoriatic patients should be evaluated for hyperlipidemia and obstructive vascular diseases. Administrating lipid-lowering medicines for patients particularly cases with severe disease may be beneficial prognosis
Study and Evaluating the Physical and Chemical Properties of Clay of Injana Formation in Al-Anbar Governorate - Western Iraq for the Purposes Some Ceramic Industries.
The clays of Injana formation are exposed in Al-Anbar Governorate-western Iraq. The aims of this study is evaluating the physical and chemical properties etc. and comparing the results with the standard specifications to indicate its suitability to ceramic industries. (13) mixtures were prepared differ from it by additions of different percent of sand and burn in four temperatures (850, 950, 1000, 1100) C° to show what is the best mixture and best burning temperature that lead to results close to standards specifications. The results of physical examinations are range between , Linear shrinkage (-0.5–0.92), Apparent porosity (11.1-35.7), efflorescence (nil to medium), compressive strength (16.1-30) Nt./mm2. The main oxides for study area are range between , SiO2 (36.15-45.10), Al2O3 (8.64-14.05), CaO (17.05-24.79), Fe2O3 (0-7.25), TiO2 (0.69-1.01), K2O (1.61-3.14), Na2O (0.32-2.11), SO3 (0.23-1.32) and Cl (0-0.47). The best burning temperature is 950C°. The engineering test results (Atterberg limit) shows that the clays of study area have super plasticity depending on classification of (Budinkov,1964), i.e. this clays can be formed and take on a plasticity suitable for ceramic industries. By comparing the results of physical properties of fired brick with the Iraqi standard specification No. 25 for year 1988, showing the clays of study area are suitable for brick industry with category class (A) Except the sample G5,G6 are failed for brick industry because using red sand that mixed with clay, which this sand contain the salts that failure the sample.
