    No full text
The article discusses the texts of Internet-based communication and correspondence in a messenger, the attention is paid to description of similarities and differences between oral and written dialogical speech. The problems of neutralizing speech features in the format of Internet-based communication and the transformation of attributes, which provide individual characteristic of the author demonstrated whilst exchanging messages in a messenger. It has been proposed to define the form of speech, typical of correspondence in the messenger, as dialogical written (printed) speech, with reference to it as to the product of intellectual activity in combination with the form of its implementation, taking into account the factor of the author’s usage of technical means for typing. The author represents the approaches to identifying significant speech characteristics, which are demonstrated by the addresser in written correspondence in the messenger; these approaches are often analyzed in the process of authorship identification tests. The possibility of revealing a complex of author’s individualizing features is proved. This paper emphasizes the importance of studying the signs of the graphic and communicative levels of the analysis of dialogical texts, provides the examples of implementation of such signs. In this article the relevance of combining linguistic and quantitative methods of analysis in revealing the author’s individualizing identificational features is proved, the paper also outlines the prospects for further research in the field of studying the linguistic personality of the digital age

CURRENT PROBLEMS OF FORENSIC AUTHORSHIP ANALYSIS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF THEIR SOLUTION WITH THE USE OF COMPUTER METHODS: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

    No full text
Active development of Internet communication in recent years caused an increase in the number of forensic text examinations aimed at identifying and profiling (i.e. inferring gender, age, personality, etc. of the author from textual analysis) the author of written texts. Despite the availability of proven methodological recommendations for the production of such examinations, in this area there are many unresolved problems associated mainly with the emergence of new research objects. In addition, the existing expert practice does not fully utilize the achievements of corpus, computer, and quantitative linguistics. In this situation, there is a gap between the “qualitative” and “quantitative” methods of textual authorship analysis, which hinders further development of both theoretical research in the area of authorship attribution and profiling and an increase in the level of objectivity and reproducibility of forensic authorship analysis. The paper represents some typical tasks solved by a forensic expert; describes the characteristics of the objects of forensic authorship analysis, and determines the main difficulties forensic experts face in the course of this analysis. The possibilities of using existing computer methods to solve these tasks are analyzed. It is shown that not all the existing computer methods are useful for forensic authorship analysis. We also highlight the ways of development of forensic authorship analysis related to further theoretical research in the field of idiolect using corpus data and natural language processing techniques

Collected papers presented on the Tenth International Conference Game Theory and Management /Editors Leon A. Petrosyan, Nikolay A. Zenkevich. – SPb.: Saint Petersburg State University, 2017. – 404 p.In this paper we consider the problem of the existence of the integral payoff in the differential games with random duration when the random time is defined on the infinite time interval. We present an example of a game with random duration, a game-theoretic model of the development of non-renewable resources.Ekaterina Gromova acknowledges the grant 17-11-01079 of Russian Science Foundation

The results of a study on the participation of women in the study of the Siberian region in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries are presented in the article. It is noted that women constantly had to face various obstacles and difficulties on the scientific path, caused by gender stereotypes, while the position of women in Siberian society had certain characteristics. The factors of women's inclusion into the scientific sphere are revealed in detail: the development of the educational system, the emergence of the first higher educational institutions, the creation of scientific institutions, the formation of civic consciousness, joint scientific studies and the legitimization of scientific activity through spouses. The main directions of local history research are shown. On the example of the activities of M. I. Molleson, V. A. Balandina, A. D. Kornakova, M. V. Krasnozhenova and others, the contribution of women to the description of nature and climate, natural resources, ethnography of the peoples of Siberia, the establishment of museum business is examined. Separately, the author pays attention to female charity for the needs of science in the Siberian region. Significant funds for research purposes were donated by E. P. and Yu. P. Kuznetsovs, A. I. Gromova, E. I. Goldobina. The activities of some Siberians were highly appreciated by contemporaries and awarded by scientific institutions of Russia. When writing the article, the author used numerous reports and works of scientific and local history organizations, which made it possible to identify the names of many women who participated in their work

The article studies a relatively new for Russian economy indicator, i.e. personnel involvement. Practice of development and implementation of personnel involvement programs is rather widely spread in overseas organizations. In Russia programs of raising personnel involvement are used only in big companies. Personnel involvement is considered as an indicator of relations 'organization - worker', when the worker is ready to fulfill functions beyond the frames of his/her job description, to apply extra efforts in order to reach the set goals, to recommend the company as an honest employer and to continue working for the company as long as possible. It was found that personnel involvement is a complicated integrated indicator, which is affected by many factors. The author formulated the key groups of factors determining the level of personnel involvement. By analyzing the practice of home and overseas companies it is shown that employees with high level of involvement can provide higher results of the company work at the same time the interrelation between involvement and key business-coefficients of the company was revealed. Competitive advantages gained by today's companies, which use technologies of raising personnel involvement are grounded. Promising lines and trends of raising personnel involvement are formulated

The article focuses on the works of the “young emigration” writer Leonid Zurov (1902–1971) in the context of traditions of the Russian Silver Age. The research is based on the analysis of the stories and novels Cadet, An Ancient Way, Field, Blue Cow Wheat, and some archival materials. Author concludes that in Zurov’s works there are features of neo-realism esthetics. Zurov’s model of the world is characterized by cosmism, unity of natural and social life, approval of the feasibility of existence. In the sphere of style there are the processes typical for neo-realism: lyricism in narration, weakening of fable connections, dissolution of genre border. Images tend to symbolization (e. g. floral and color symbols), at Zurov’s creativity there are through mythemes: ancient way, field, earth, sun, waters. The titles of the novels An Ancient Way and Field represent the mythemes which reflected the historical concept of Zurov who studied archeology and claimed that the northwest area of Russia had been populated with Slavs since ancient times. The field mytheme in Zurov’s works is allocated with the meanings which are going back to folklore, Old Russian and literary traditions. The floral symbols are connected with comparison of a person and a plant, e. g. killed soldiers on the battlefield are compared to the cut-off rye ears. The symbolism of blue and gold colors in the story Blue Cow Wheat also goes back to the Russian folklore, an Old Russian iconography and “young symbolism” aesthetics. These features indicate the enrichment of traditional realism means with the new modernist esthetics

In Contributions to game theory and management, vol. XI. Collected papers presented on the Eleventh International Conference Game Theory and Management / Editors Leon A. Petrosyan, Nikolay A. Zenkevich. - SPb.: Saint Petersburg State University, 2018. - 330 p. The collection contains papers accepted for the Eleventh International Game Theory and Management (June 28-30, 2017, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg, Russia). This paper focuses on different approaches for calculating haracteristic functions in cooperative differential games with prescribed and random duration. We construct α−, δ− and ζ− haracteristic functions and examine their properties in the differential game of pollution control. Additionally, we introduce a new η− haracteristic function. The construction of Nash equilibria by first author was supported by the project 17-11-01093 from Russian Science Foundatio
