No full textIl percorso di vita dei migranti con disabilità nel paese ospitante costituisce l'intersezione di due condizioni, essere uno straniero e avere una disabilità. Queste condizioni devono essere esplorate sulla base della cultura del paese di origine, della cultura del paese in cui vivono ora e del nuovo spazio transculturale definito dall'incontro tra queste culture. Questo articolo presenta suggerimenti per un approccio personalizzato alla consulenza, tenendo conto delle problematiche della disabilità e dell'interculturalità nella scuola e nei contesti extrascolastici. Si ritiene che la consulenza nell'Educazione Speciale e Interculturale possa svilupparsi come pratica fondamentale di "co-pianificazione del capacity building" (Marchisio, 2019, p. 85) per famiglie e professionisti immigrati.The life trajectory of migrants with disabilities in the host country constitutes the intersection of two conditions, being a foreigner and having an impairment. These conditions need to be explored on the basis of the culture of the country of origin, the culture of the country in which they now live and the new transcultural space defined by the meeting between these cultures. This paper presents suggestions for a personalized approach to counseling taking into account issues of disability and interculturality in the school and in out-of-school contexts. It is believed that counseling in Special and Intercultural Education can develop as a fundamental practice of «capacity building co-planning» (Marchisio, 2019, p. 85) for immigrant families and professionals

No full textThe Covid-19 crisis hit the world at a time when neoliberal politics had systematically eroded social solidarity with their emphasis on unrestrained individualism. The collective measures necessary to contain the pandemic infringe people’s autonomy severely, and thereby expose the contradictory polarisation between individual liberty and the ‘common good’ which has arisen. ‘Social distancing’ has long become an accompanying feature of globalisation and the crisis threatens to deepen social, economic and political divisions and to herald a retreat to more divisive measures. The professional experience social work and social pedagogy have in dealing with the underlying contradictions and their specific knowledge on how to constitute social solidarity in conditions of justice and equality are now more than ever relevant in the post-crisis reconstruction. Their core message is that personal autonomy can only be achieved in the context of fair structural conditions, and these professions have a vital role in promoting the constructive realignment of both spheres
