MOB in pajamas, Rice University
Marching Owl Band members wearing pajamas and fedoras for "Operation Sleeping Bag," a musical performance in a halftime show for a crowded stadium as Rice played SMU. The SMU Mustang Band had a tradition of being the last band standing after all games, outlasting the other band and playing the final song.
The MOB was determined to be last on this occasion, and wore pajamas to signify their willingness to spend the night, if necessary. Alison Kennamer is pictured on the left. Some members are playing the clarinet, while others are walking away towards the crowd. Original resource is a black and white photograph
