Till now, a state of nomadic Romani women has been described only from a position of an external observer. The author supposes that narrative sources should be used more actively. To actualize this concept he studies recollections of nomadic life, focusing on Romani women’s traditional ways of earning, such as fortune-telling and begging, and their main value – a family. The article shows how Romani women used to risk for husbands and children. They had to take the initiative and to show mother with every day to feed themselves and their relatives. At the same time, married Romani women lived at the mercy of patriarchy. That created the basic paradox of their lives. Gypsy fortune tellers had real economical independence. Outside of families they looked as free women, but inside they uncomplainingly received whipping. The author want to show subjects that are hardly shown in special literature at the moment. Particularly, he writes about the fact that Romani women have actively taken part in a fight against Nazism during the World War II. Another little known subject is women’s literacy. Though most nomadic Romani women couldn’t read, but indeed exclusions existed. It is interesting, too, such a fact as Romani women could get a high social status with an elderly age, so that men take into account their opinion in traditional court. Sometimes, as it can be seen from examples, families were named for female ancestors. The author studies also psychological possibilities used by Gypsy wives to affect their husbands’ decisions.Natalia Gancar

Management of Creativity as a Factor of the Development of Regional Mass Media

    No full text
It is generally agreed today that the present-day media market does not require journalist creativity. Creative potential is considered as a rudiment that impedes the development of mass media. This article shows that the creativity is still relevant in journalism practice in regional mass media. The author concludes that in the digital age the creative component as an important part of professional culture of a journalist is mostly in-demand in such segment of media management as management of creativity.

The author analyzes the problem of journalist’s professional culture in terms of forming common professional standard. It is shown that this standard should also consider the group of “non-professionals”. The author believes that a journalistic education may help “non-professionals” to adapt to the journalism culture. As an example, the author shows his own experience of creating and organizing the thematic webinar

Devision of the weeks in Daniel 9.25: the origin of Theodotion's translation and it's relation to the Masoretic text

This article deals with the disscusion of Daniel 9.25, where the author foresees the coming of the “anointed prince”. The problem in question is the term after which this event will occur. In masoretic version the sentence is rendered in such a manner that the term from ”the going forth of the commandment” to rebuild Jerusalem to the anointed prince will be 7 weeks and 62 weeks will be the term of the rebuilding of the city. According to the Theodotion's translation the anointed prince will come after 62 weeks and 7 weeks. In our opinion the whole passage can be estimated according to the syntax of the verse without any regard to later Masoretic punctuation. The usage of conjunction waw in the verse 9.25 strongly advocates masoretic interpretation of the passage. On the other hand, the text of Theodotion's translation enables us to reconstruct Hebrew Vorlage with the alternative application of waw conjunctions. Following grammatical criteria we can suggest that the extant masoretic rendering was indeed the original one and later Theodotion's version emerged as a result of misunderstanding of the prophecy. We can suppose that the scribe, who produced Theodotion's protograph, in line with a tradition of the day, treated different messianic and royal figures from Dan 9. 24-27 as the same person, what resulted in alteration of the syntax of the passage

    Методология исследования и планирование эксперимента

    No full text
The article describes the features of the research methodology and experiment planning. Carrying out any experiment, the experimenter aims to reduce the number of experiments, simplify calculations, the transition from a simple model, for example, the first order, to a more complex one, using the results of the previous experiments (the properties of the compositional plan). These requirements must be taken into account in the process of choosing a plan. The author comes to the conclusion that not all plans can simultaneously meet different criteria of optimality. Typically, such criteria are controversial, so the experimenter must make compromise decisions that are optimal within one criterion and quasi-optimal within others.

The role of platelets in blood coagulation during thrombus formation in flow

Hemostatic plug covering the injury site (or a thrombus in the pathological case) is formed due to the complex interaction of aggregating platelets with biochemical reactions in plasma that participate in blood coagulation. The mechanisms that control clot growth and which lead to growth arrest are not yet completely understood. We model them with numerical simulations based on a hybrid DPD-PDE model. Dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) is used to model plasma flow with platelets while fibrin concentration is described by a simplified reaction-diffusion-convection equation. The model takes into account consecutive stages of clot growth. First, a platelet is weakly connected to the clot and after some time this connection becomes stronger due to other surface receptors involved in platelet adhesion. At the same time, the fibrin network is formed inside the clot. This becomes possible because flow does not penetrate the clot and cannot wash out the reactants participating in blood coagulation. Platelets covered by the fibrin network cannot attach new platelets. Modelling shows that the growth of a hemostatic plug can stop as a result of its exterior part being removed by the flow thus exposing its non-adhesive core to the flow

Taking into account the results of LDA+U+SO-modeling of the electronic structure of Fe1-xCoxSi, temperature-prolonged magnetic phase transitions of the first order in strongly correlated alloys with a broken crystal structure of the B20 type are investigated. It is shown that such phase transitions are induced by concentration and thermodynamic fluctuations for compositions with 0.2<x<0.65 and are accompanied by a change in the sign of the mode-mode coupling parameter. In this case, an intermediate region appears between the long-range order phases and the paramagnetic phase, with the short-range spin order characterized by ferromagnetic and helicoidal spatial fluctuations. We have defined the intervals of external magnetic fields, at which skyrmion microstructures spatially limited by the crossover of helicoidal and ferromagnetic fluctuations appear in the considered region of the extended phase transition. The peculiarities of the temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility in an external magnetic field, characteristic of the appearance of skyrmions, are obtained. © 2021 Author(s)
